5 years later - Olivia's pov

"I say we make chicken Alfredo for dinner tonight. How's that sound?" Divine asks as I steer our cart to isles away from food and more towards the pharmacy. "Where are you going? We need food."

"Um..." I shrug, needing to get this done soon, but I've got no idea how to tell her-Divine-what I'm worried that I might find out soon. She's my best friend, practically my sister, but still... "I need to pick something up."

"Okay. But hurry, I need a snack now or something because I'm starving so... Hmm, I want some fries to hold me over until dinner. Let's go to McDonald's?" she asks happily, not even seeing where I'm walking, just following me.

"Yeah, sure." Even though McDonald's makes me want to gag right now.

Today is one of mine and Divine's girls days, where we'd usually go out all day-I made up excuses today to stay in and watch movies, fix our nails ourselves, all that, because I just didn't have the energy to go out-and end our day with meeting the guys back at one of our apartments-or houses, since Ashton and Divine got the luckiest and managed to own a house before the rest of us.

"Or we can get..." She trails off when she sees what I'm looking at. "Why're you looking at those?"

"Why else would I be?" I sigh, trying to figure out which will be the best when there's too fucking many different ones.

"You're pregnant?" Her eyes widen but the smile that takes over her face scares me. "Oh my god!"

"Maybe." But I haven't gotten my period, one minute certain foods make me throw up but then I'm craving them the next, and I've had morning sickness. It's too much to be a coincidence.

"No wonder you've been so moody lately." Oh, add that to the list.

"Yeah..." I groan, picking up a pregnancy test finally, leading us back over to pick up the stuff for chicken Alfredo.

"Is this good or bad?" Divine asks, her smile fading away as I've hardly given a reaction.

"It's not bad, just unexpected." Me and Adrian want kids, we've talked about it, but I didn't know it'd be so soon. We're 23, and our lives are going perfect, so it really isn't bad. We can handle it, even if becoming a mom does fucking terrify me. I wanted this to happen when we actually started trying, not when we don't try. But we've been getting lazy when it comes to protection, since we've talked about kids, so I guess we sort of already started trying... I don't know. I'm hungry too now, but Divine's offer on McDonald's will need to be passed up.

"Have you told Adrian?" she asks as we walk and walk, the frozen food isles having to be on the whole other side of the store, of fucking course.

"No, not yet. I will though, later on." Even if I'm not pregnant, I'll still tell him I thought I might've been, so we can talk more about this stuff, if we're okay with having kids now.

Divine smiles brightly, getting way too excited at the thought of me possibly being pregnant. She'll be an amazing aunt at least, and the baby would have three amazing uncles, also another amazing aunt who's Cassie and amazing grandparents... My kids will have the best childhood, not anything even close to as bad as I'd been given, I'll make sure of it. Me and Adrian will make sure of it.

"If I'm pregnant..." I need to not start getting all these thoughts in my head because then I'll become excited and cry a lot of I'm not actually pregnant, but here I am. "It's gonna be sort of weird."

"How?" She raises her brows, even though of course it's gonna be weird. Not in a bad way, but just... The fact that me and Adrian will be having a baby will have to take sometime to get used to.
