LMK: The Adventures of Macaque and Bei Da

Chapter 1: The unexpected reunion

Macaque's day was filled with nothing so he decided to walk in a dark alleyway. He had his regrets about the whole Lady Bone Demon situation.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" said a young female voice, Macaque nearly jumped when he heard that.

"What the hell was that?" The black furred monkey thought. He decided to check where he heard the scream.

When Macaque arrived, he saw two demons and...WAIT A DAMN MINUTE IS THAT THE LADY BONE DEMON'S HOST?! Macaque was shocked to see her again. She was cornered by two demons who were orange and blue. He didn't want the poor thing to face demons again and not after being possessed by the Lady Bone Demon herself.

Macaque summoned his shadow clones to attack the two demons. One of the demons tried to kick one of the shadow clones, which turned into a bad move. Macaque decided that it would be better if the demons saw what they were up against. Macaque jumped into his own shadow. He was teleported to the demon that kicked his clone.

"Hey there, bud!" Macaque said, scaring the living shit out of the demon.

"AH! WHAT THE HELL?!" said the scared blue demon, looking as if he had seen a ghost.

"YIN, ARE YOU OK?!" yelled the orange demon, he looked very concerned.

"Ya'know, normally, I would just let this go. But~ this is a special case, so I need you two to back off kay?" said Macaque in a very chill voice. The demons felt a chill up their spines after Macaque spoke.

"Oh yeah? What's Sun Wukong's copycat gonna do, huh?" said Yin in a smug tone.

"Heh, I thought you might say that..." Macaque said in a mysterious voice. "Tell me, how would you two feel if I kicked both of your asses?" said Macaque looking directly at the two demons in the eyes.

"Uh huh, yeah like shadow boy is gonna do anythi-" said Jin, but Macaque punched him in the face, cutting off the orange demon.

"Oh, dear! Did I do that?"

The blue demon proceeded to land an attack on the black furred monkey, but instead, he got kicked in the gut. Both demons are now laying on the ground injured by Macaque.

"Heh, I can't believe that you two thought you had a chance against me, the Six Eared Macaque." said the black furred monkey.

The two demons ran away after getting their asses beat by Macaque. He then remembered why he came here in the first place.

Macaque turned to look at the Lady Bone Demon's host, the girl was shaking in fear. She looked like a train wreck. Her black hair was a mess, her pink headband was on the ground and her clothes were not badly damaged.

"Hey there, kiddo," Macaque said in a friendly tone, he had to be careful with how he acted around the girl. He didn't want her to be scared of him.

The girl slowly remembered him, he saved her after the Lady Bone Demon had made her fall to her almost death.

"H-hi" stammered the black-haired girl, she didn't think she would see him again. "Wait, IT'S YOU! You're the one who saved me after the Lady Bone Demon tried to kill me!" Said the girl in a joyous tone.

"Uh...You're welcome?" said Macaque in a very confused voice, he never got a compliment like that before. "Wait, hold on. Why were you being cornered by those two idiots?"

"Those two demons? They were trying to get my money, but uh...I don't have any money on me." She explained.

"Oh, um ok? But why are you even here? Shouldn't you be with your parents or something??" This kid has to have parents, right?

"Oh, my parents moved away while LBD was possessing me and I'm trying to look for my cat, I haven't seen him in months!" said the girl.

"Oh ok- YOUR PARENTS DID WHAT?!" He exclaimed.

"Yeah...They left the country a couple of months after I got possessed." She said sadly.

'Dear lords, this kid's parents really didn't want to wait any longer." Macaque thought to himself. The air was filled with awkward silence until he spoke again.

"So kid, what's your name?" Macaque asked the girl.

"My name is Bei Da."

"Ok Bei Da, Do you have a place to stay or?"

"Uhhh...no not really, I've just been sleeping in cardboard boxes."

"Good lords, Kid, you really shouldn't be doing that." Macaque said "It's bad for your back."

"I know, but it's the only option that I have at the moment." Bei Da replied "I just want to find my cat..I haven't seen him in months!"

Suddenly, Macaque got an idea. He could help Bei Da find her cat and then probably give her to MK and his friends. But if that doesn't work out, he could just take care of her? Taking care of a kid should be easy, right? Wukong somewhat takes care of MK in a sense. If Wukong can take care of a mortal then, so can he!

"Ok kiddo, I'm gonna help ya find your cat, Kay?"

"Wait, you're gonna help me? Oh thank you, Macaque!" exclaimed Bei Da.

"No problem kid!" said Macaque "But first, it's getting late and you're probably tired. So, let's find you a place to sleep."

Bei Da yawned "Ok."

The two looked for a good place to rest and then Macaque found some newspapers near a corner in the alleyway.

"Hey kiddo! I found a good place to rest!" exclaimed Macaque.

"That's nice." Bei Da said sleepily. She walked over to where Macaque was and sat down. Macaque follows her lead and sits down next to her. Bei Da started to shiver a bit, so Macaque took off his scarf and placed it on Bei Da like a blanket.

"Huh? Oh, thank you..." Bei Da said in a now very tired tone and then she drifted off to sleep.

"No problem kiddo."

Macaque, now sitting in an alleyway with a sleeping child, thought to himself.

'This is way better than her being possessed by the Lady Bone Demon.'

Macaque started to feel tired as well and started to drift to sleep. Tomorrow will be a busy day for both of them. The black furred monkey and the child slept until sunrise.

"Wait...Is that Macaque?"
