Remus was done. He was sick and tired of his boyfriend treating him like sh*t, he was sick and tired of the on-and-off thing they had going on, he was done with those stupid touches that turned him to putty because they always ended too soon. He missed the way He had been at the beginning, before His true colors began to show. He was done with going home wearing sweaters and hoodies, always afraid that someone would see the bruises and ask questions. He was tired of hurting.
It took a while, but he managed to gather up the courage and broke up with Him. It hurt. It hurt so bad... Remus loved Him..! And he still did, and it was tearing him apart, so he did the only thing he could think to do.
He snuck into his parents' liquor cabinet and stole a bottle of whiskey, locking it back up afterwards. He snuck out, leaving a note of course so that nobody would worry, and walked. He walked a long way, out to a field and under a lone tree. The only problem was, somebody else was already there.
"I- sorry-" Remus mumbled, gripping the neck of the unopened bottle. "Am I allowed here? Or- gods, help me- sorry. I'm a bit frazzled. Is it alright if I sit here?" He stared expectantly at the stranger, 🔇, waiting for an answer.
