Sahara's POV

"So you're actually going to go despite your mom telling you not too?" Lian raised her eyebrows at me as she laughed.

"What— Why is that funny to you?" I hit her in the arm, "But yes, I am planning on going,"

"Wearing that?"

"No not wearing this, silly. I was actually thinking of going into my mothers old closet."

"Thank god, because your style doesn't match your latest attitude. When are you getting those new dresses?"

"I got half of them already but I'm not allowed to wear them for a while or something like that, ugh it's annoying," I rolled my eyes. "Look the point is I need you to cover for me,"

"Doing what? Don't your parents think you read at this tim—" I placed my finger on top of my lips signalling for Lian to lower her voice as I approached my dresser. I may have been young but I still knew how to sneak around and was capable of noticing when someone was snooping on me. Walking in I couldn't notice anything different, but the small sound of tiny footsteps echo'd through the cement floors. Quickly I pushed my dresses aside to reveal Bella who giggled to herself.

"Gotcha," She pulled her tongue out on me through the gap that had formed recently after the loss of her two front teeth.

"Bella, I've told you to stay out of my room!" I groaned as I picked her up.

"But you said we could play dress up,"

"We'll play dress up tomorrow, I don't have time for these childish games right now,"

"You always say tomorrow, and you never play with me," She pouted and furrowed her brows as she wiggled her body desperate to get out of my arms.

Pushing my door with my back I placed her in the ground, "Stay out of my room Isabella, I'm not kidding this time,"

Suddenly a scream overtook the hallway, and everyone turned heads to see what was going on. "You're mean," I could see tears forming in her eyes as she went to run away, but when turning around, she bumped into my mothers leg, her face looking extremely concerned.

"What on earth is going on?" She picked Bella up and wiped her tears. "Hey baby it's okay, what is it?"

"Sari won't play with me she's being mean to me mommy," She cried to her shoulder. Rolling my eyes, I crossed my arms.

"Well I wouldn't have to be mean if you stayed out of my room, she keeps sneaking in and it's embarrassing mom,"

"Alright, alright just give me a minute," She turned to Bella, "Baby you can't sneak up on your sister it's not nice," She then made a serious face at me, "And you, be nice to your little sister. Need I remind you, you're the one she learned to sneak up on people from, you pay the consequences."

"Whatever,  can you just take her?"

Isabelle interrupted. "Mommy tell her to play dress up with me,"

"I thought you were going to play dress up yesterday?" My mom said turning back to look at me confused. I could sense her furrowing her brows at me without even looking at her directly.

Groaning I rolled my eyes once more, "I'm not playing dress up mom, I'm 16 for crying out loud,"

"She promised," Bella pointed at me, I swear my parents said I had my mothers temper but if anyone got it the most it was Isabelle, the little human could get exactly what she wanted with little to no effort, and her big eyes and cute pout didn't help either.

"You've been promising her this for weeks Sahara," she raised an eyebrow at me, my mothers way of saying I had to do whatever she was asking of me and pronto.
