Sahara's POV

Walking up to my room I felt someone pull me by the arm. "Oh gosh, you scared me," I giggled as I brushed my hair to the side.

"Are you busy?"

"I have school to do, why?"

"Can you postpone?"

"No exactly but—" Looking to the sides I noticed no one was there. "What did you have in mind?"

"How about little stroll in the garden until noon, and then we head to the market so I can buy you something pretty?" He smirked.

"The market? I don't think so," I raised my brows at him.

"Why?"

"Fathers never going to let me go to the market, led alone with a boy,"

"And who says we have to tell?"

"You're saying we sneak out?"

"Why not?"

"Just thinking you're awfully confident about breaking the rules for being the head of securities son," I crossed my arms. For a few seconds I contemplated the idea, but honestly I did it thousands of times when I was younger. What were the chances of anyone finding out now? Looking up at Cassim I noticed he pouted.

"C'mon it'll be fun princess,"

"Fine, but just a little while,"

"Yes, are you ready in 20?"

"Sure, I'll meet you down at the court yard."
Going back to my room I quickly fixed my hair and slipped on one of my moms old dresses. I don't know what it was but wearing her things made me feel so special, powerful even. As I finished up I heard someone knock on my door. Quickly I jumped to my bed and grabbed a book. "Come in,"

"Hey S,"

Letting out a breath of relief I sat up, "Lian,"

"What's up why are you all pretty?"

"Do I look pretty?" I felt myself blush.

"Yeah, why?" She laughed as she sat in my bed.

"I have a date,"

"On a school day? What's Jasmine gotta say about that?"

"Nothing, because she doesn't know."

"Are you not telling her?"

"Nope, why should I? I'm 15, I can handle myself,"

"Whatever you say girl," chuckling Lian got up.

"What?"

"Nothing,"

"No say it,"

"Listen I just think you should be careful,"

"Careful with what?"

"I don't know Cassim just... he gives me weird vibes I can't explain it,"

"You're crazy,"

"Actually I'm not, I'm half Genie which leads me to believe my instincts should be somewhat right, not to mention I am older than you Sahara," she raised her eyebrows at me.

"I'm sure its nothing Lian you're probably just going through more of those changes that our moms told us about,"

"Sahara I'm serious... I don't think you should go out there today, it could be dangerous,"

Looking back I asked worried. "Go where?"

"I don't know exactly, I just... where ever you're planning to go, just don't okay?"
