To Sahara, Ali, Kalil and Isabella

My children, no words exist to describe how much I've missed you these long months. I received word from Dalia and Genie that you've reached your first destination, Sconland. Dalia and I both have a very funny story about this place in particular, which I'm sure she's already told you about. There you'll encounter people with skin as pale as the clouds and golden hair. Their culture is very distinct from ours but none of the less, quite interesting.

Anyways, although things are a bit tense here in Agrabah your father and I are doing well. A bit bored though, the palace is so quiet without you both. Raja, Duma and Abu both miss you all very much as well.

Dalia also told me how big you guys have gotten, how Ali has gotten as tall as Omar and how Sahara is becoming a very responsible young lady. She also mentioned how the twins have started speaking more. Oh how we love you guys. Not a day goes by where I don't I wish I could see you again. Hopefully that day comes soon.

We're eager to hear more about your travels. Much love,

Mommy and Bubba.

I folded up the letter and placed it in an envelope for the children. Grabbing another paper I dipped the pen in more inc and began writing.

Dear Dalia,

It brings me such a sense of peace to know you guys and the children are safe. Things have worsened here in Agrabah. The city is barren as Jafar now steals from everyone and torments everyone on the streets. We haven't seen the sun in months, the temperatures don't go higher. Aladdin and I are kept away in the palace trying to figure out a way to stop him, but it seems merely impossible. Each time more and more soldiers sacrifice themselves. It's truly heartbreaking... Pretty soon merchants will stop arriving at the ports. Food is scarce and people are running scared. Aladdin and I are soon to leave the castle in hopes of finding help or trying to get him away from the city.

I miss you guys so much, my heart breaks every day that you all aren't here. Sadly, it isn't safe nor does it seem like it will be any time soon. My hopes of cutting the trip short have vanished. The route planned out will remain as established, no matter how long it takes.

I hope next time I write to you guys I have better news about our beloved kingdom.

Much love,

Folding the letter I placed it on another envelope. I took the letter to Hakim who went to send it to them at their next destination. Suddenly I felt a hand touch my back.

"Are you ready?" Aladdin whispered to me.

"Ready." I sighed. Grabbing his hand we headed to our bedroom. I placed my scarf to cover my face and we both hopped on carpet.
As we flew over the city if Agrabah we took in the aerial view. The streets where empty, with the exception of people who just didn't have a shelter. The grey skies turned black as nightfall began. I turned to look back at the only thing that was relatively lit up, the palace. As Aladdin took a gaze at me he reached for my hand. "Bye home..."

"We'll be back soon... do you have the map?" I nodded as I handed it over to him.

"Alright, first stop Shirabad." Carpet flew for hours on end, so long that I fell asleep on Aladdin's shoulder. I could still feel the cold breeze hitting my face as she sped through the night sky. Before I knew it, night had turned into day. Carpet descended in the middle of the desert to take a rest. "How much longer do you think?" Aladdin asked me as he looked around.
