Sahara's POV

I felt my heart sink to my stomach as my dad said that. Grabbing my plate I sat down to eat my fruit and waited for my dad to leave. As he walked away I tapped Ali's hand.

"What is it?" He looked up at me annoyed as he put his book down.

"Did you know about what mom's doing today?"

"Yeah, everyone know's."

"And why didn't I?"

"Because you only think of yourself?" He raised his eyebrows.

Rolling my eyes I sat back, "I do not,"

"Uh, I think you do."

"Shut up I don't!" I stood up but froze as I heard the door push open.

"What is going on in here?" My mom walked in and looked at me and Ali.

"Sari just realized what today is and now she's scared." I slapped him in the arm.

"Hey, no physical fighting," she pushed my hand back. Looking down at me she sighed and turned to Ali who went in to give her a hug.

"Morning mom,"

"Morning baby,"

"Are you scared for today?" He paused to look at her.

My mom quickly fixed her expression, "No, it's going to be fine," she smiled lightly.

Ali nodded and walked out as my mom sat down. Looking at her I decided to speak up, "Why are you lying?"

"What?"

"You're telling him it's going to be okay when you don't even know,"

"It's complicated,"

"It really isn't mom, and honestly its really concerning you'd throw yourself out there not knowing what's going to happen. We've been through this once we don't need it to happen again,"

"We've got people everyone in case anything does happen, it's going to be okay," I felt a tear escape my eye, was I really this nervous? "Honey,"

My mom got up and came up to me. Softly she placed her arms around me and landed a kiss in my head. "I promise its going to be okay,"

"You promise..."

"I really do,"

"I'm sorry mom,"

"It's okay,"

"It's really not, I shouldn't have—"

My words were interrupted by my uncle as he cleared his throat, "Sorry to interrupted, Jasmine may I have a word?"

"Of course," she nodded.

"Wait mom..." I stopped her. "I'm really sor—

"Princess!" They shouted.

"I know, I love you," she mouthed at me. Nodding I let out a breath. Today was going to be a lot harder than I thought.

Aladdin's POV

I held Jasmine's hand as we walked on our way out, "You got this?"

"I do, it's okay," she smiled.

Softly I grabbed her face and placed a kiss on her forehead, "If you get that feeling—"

"What feeling?"

"The, feeling." I raised my eyebrow. Jasmine nodded, she knew what I meant. "Yell Jas, I'll be there before you know it, okay?"
