Jasmine's POV

I paced back and forth and rolled my eyes. "Where is she?"

"Relax I'm sure she must have reasonable explanation," Aladdin said.

Suddenly we both turned our heads as the door pushed open as she brushed her hair, "I'm sorry I was running a little... late." She quickly hid the brush behind her back and smiled.

"Where have you been? You're 45 minutes late Sahara,"

"45 minutes?" Her eyes widened. "Sorry I just lost track of time..."

"You've been losing track of time an awful lot lately," I crossed my arms. "Why are your pants dirty?" I noticed and bent down to clean them. "Where have you been?"

"Oh that...I must've dirtied them when I was looking for my brush,"

"You need to clean your room this afternoon," I looked at Aladdin who had his thinking face on. Immediately I knew something was in his mind. "Anyway, we don't have much time at all to practice but lets see if you've improved after these weeks."

Sahara nodded and ran up the stairs. Quickly she stacked 3 books on her head and went to walk down the stairs. For the first time in weeks I noticed her posture was perfect and her chin was lifted. She walked down the stairs with ease and with the looks of a true princess... or soon to be Sultan I should say. Finally as she reached the end I smiled at her as she turned to me. "I did it!" She dropped the books from her head. "I did it mom!" She quickly ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"You did, and you looked beautiful while doing so. Isn't that right my love?" I looked at Aladdin who also smiled.

"Stunning I would say," he got up and gave her a kiss on the head. "Proud of you princess,"

As I went to speak again I felt something tug on my dress. It was little Bella, "Hey, how long have you been standing there?" I giggled as she shrugged her shoulders and put her arms up. Picking her up I gave her a kiss on the cheek, "Did you see your big sister?"

"Yes mommy!" She applauded Sahara.

"Thanks Bels," Sari smiled at her. "So... am I free to go now?"

Looking at Aladdin I nodded, "I think you are, for now at least. You get a couple of weeks before we start your fittings?"

"For what?"

"Your new dresses and outfits and shoes, all of that."

"But I like my dresses," she turned her head.

"I know but now it's different. Soon you'll have to dress like a Sultan, not a princess. But don't worry it's just fittings, you won't have to wear it for a while."

"Oh okay, well I've got somewhere to be then," she went to walk out.

"Where?" Aladdin asked.

"What?"

"Where do you have to be?"

"Oh... I just want to relax for a bit nothing special."

"Oh okay," He said unconvinced.

"Remember to clean your room okay? I think I'll send Aliyah this time to help you out,"

"I will,"

Quickly Sahara ran out and Aladdin and I were both left with doubts. "Should I check on her?"

"I want to say yes but I also want to trust her," I sighed.

"Do you trust her?"

"Do you?" I raised my eyebrows at him.

"She's my 15 year old daughter of course I do... but,"

"Exactly," I rolled my eyes. "Just, make sure she's safe okay?" He nodded. "And try to not get caught please,"

"Don't have to tell me twice,"

Looking down at Bella I let out a breath, "Please be more like your father,"

She softly giggled, "I'm hungry mommy,"

"Now that you say so I'm hungry too, come on lets get a snack," Quickly we both snuck into the kitchen and got some bread and jams. "Which one?"

"Strawberry please,"

"That's my girl, come on lets go outside,"

Sahara's POV

Running to the wall I quickly climbed it and stood on top, it wasn't long before I heard chuckles coming from beneath. "What took you so long I heard Kairo say.

"I had training and was running late thanks to you,"

"Did you do it though?"

"Yeah, I killed it," I smiled.

"See I told you all you had to do was strengthen your core."

"Whatever the point is I'm done for a while now, which means I'm free for a couple of weeks,"

"Which means...?"

"I'll talk to my parents to see if you can come over for dinner or something,"

"Dinner? That sounds fancy,"

"It's just food Kairo,"

"Yeah heaps of it I'm sure,"

Rolling my eyes I looked down at him again, "Well you'll only find out if you agree to come,"

"Depends, what's in it for me?" He said jokingly.

"I'd say sitting down with the royal family for a meal would suffice," I laughed.

"But I wouldn't be going for the royal family,"

"Oh yeah," I grinned, "Then who would you be going for?"

"I think theres this really feisty princess, yeah she really caught my eye that one time when we were kids."

"Hey I'm not feisty," He shrugged his shoulders. "Well then... is that a yes?"

"If you agree to go on a stroll later then sure,"

"What like a friendship stroll?"

"I was thinking a date, but if thats what you want then—"

"No— I mean... a date sounds nice."

"Well then, I'll be back tomorrow same time?"

"Hopefully I'll be back and with an invitation,"

Kairo chuckled and ran back, "See you tomorrow Princess,"

Sitting down, I let out a breath. I couldn't believe after so many years Kairo and I were still able to play around with each other and have things be so chill. After watching the sunset I went back in the palace and walked into the dining hall. Empty. Confused I went into the family room. My parents and everyone else sat on pillows on the floor as they finished the last of their meal. "Well look who decided to show up," My dad said.

"Sorry I was..."

"On a walk?" My mom raised her eyebrows at me.

"Uhh yeah about that...could I ask you guys something?"

"Ask away," she responded.

"So the day I ran off I bumped into Kairo and I was wondering if he could come have dinner tomorrow,"

"Dinner? Here?" My dad said seriously.

"Yeah, we haven't really seen much of each other and I have a couple of weeks off don't I mom?"

"You do,"

"So?"

"I don't see why not—" She said and then looked at my dad who made a face at her, "Um why not discuss it first?"

I sighed, "It's just dinner, mom please."

"I'll let you know tomorrow, why don't you just get some rest tonight okay?" She stood up, "Eat up, dinner's really good. And don't go to bed too late okay?" She kissed me in the forehead and grabbed the twins as she stood up.

"Night Sari," they said in unison as everyone else walked out.

Great another suspenseful thing to add to my life...
