When her father had been taking handfuls of drugs and drank then tried to activate his quirk to beat her. her mum was on drugs as well when they both started fighting.

He killed his wife and while he was doing that she tried to run away with her brother. but her father killed her brother. Her quirk activated and she beat her farther until he was barely breathing. She was only 7 at the time.
