"Hitoshi." The sound of rain hitting against the window could be heard through the entire house as the small family sat at the kitchen table. It was dark and chilly outside, though only breakfast time, about 10:34am to be exact. The black glazed wooden table was in the shape of a circle, the order at the moment being Emi, Eri, Aizawa, and Hitoshi.
The boy sat there, not eating, speaking, not really completely even there at the moment. He was gazing off into space as if he was looking at something where nothing was. This seemed like a normal occurrence of just blanking out, which is why it confused and slightly worried the couple and small girl when the boy was sitting there, unresponsive for almost thirty minutes.
"Do you think he's okay?" Emi asked as Aizawa shined a small green and black flashlight in the boy's eyes. He was doing a quick check on the boy, having at least enough medical training to make sure he was physically stable and okay. It was a requirement for UA teachers to go through a few teenage psychology classes and heroes in training to go through two different classes: mainly hero lessons (obviously) and a few medical courses, just in case ever needed in the field.
"His pupils aren't over dilated and his breathing is normal, but there could be a number of things going on. He could be having a mental breakdown. I'm going to take him to his bed and just hold him for a bit, maybe it will help him a bit." Ms. Joke nodded as she handed Eri a juice box and ate her food. She was worried about her son but also didn't want to worry her daughter too much since the boy had only been living with them for a few days and they didn't know a whole lot about him yet.
They were going to have a game day since it was supposed to rain all day, just have some fun and relax but it seemed their plans might not go as planned due to problems in the system. And by problems.. I mean several splits.
Hitoshi wasn't exactly having a mental breakdown but instead, dissociating. The act of dissociating is complicated. Sometimes it can take seconds, and others it could take hours. In simple words, dissociating is when the mind runs off to such a far extent that one may feel as if they are detached from themselves and the world with it.
A new alter had split and was trying to front, which Triston wasn't stopping, simply because it wasn't a danger to them or anyone else at the moment. The altar was unidentifiable till they split, making it impossible to determine if they were a threat until met. So that being said, Triston simply didn't stop the fronting of the new altar.
Aizawa laid the teen on his dark purple sheets and laid next to him, pulling him into a hug and combing through the teens soft lilac hair. The man was propped up by his elbow as he held his son to try and comfort him in the unknown situation. Minutes later, the system had successfully dissociated, leaving a new alter in control.
