"And how long exactly have you felt this way?" Hitoshi sat next to Aizawa, leaning against him, his head on his shoulder as he tried to find the ability to speak up. The adults didn't tell him what the girl had said the day before, unsure what DID really was and wanting an actual diagnosis before doing anything. Eri was home with Hizashi and Shirakumo at the moment and Hitoshi was extremely nervous about admitting things.

"I don't know.... Maybe a few years...?" The woman nodded as she went to write something down on her clipboard.

"So you tend to wake up with no recollection of previous nights? Feel like you're losing time, maybe waking up with your makeup done, new items you didn't buy, or plans on the calendar you don't remember making?" Hitoshi nodded, just now realizing how strange it was. They had been there for about an hour and the boy was minutes away from a mental breakdown.

The women gave a soft reassuring smile before speaking again. It had only been an hour and she spoke with Hitoshi, Shota and Emi quite a bit. But the main thing used was her quirk. Her quirk being 'diagnosis' giving her the easy ability of diagnosing a person with one direct touch. It didn't give a sight into the mind but did tell her what issues she couldn't see, had caused.

"Alright, so I can give a few diagnoses at the time. For one your suicidal and have depression along with anxiety and what seems to be fading stockholm syndrome. But the biggest thing is something called dissociative identity disorder. Do you know what that is?"

All three shook their heads 'no' but at least Aizawa and Emi got conformation on the situation. "Alright, so dissociative identity disorder, or DID, is a response to early childhood trauma that the brain couldn't handle so instead of taking a normal course of action, the child's personality splits. Because of this, and you may have noticed, but it's like having multiple people living in one body. Now, their all Hitoshi, but also different since they are split." The lady went on to explain further, giving the adults a few reliable sources to check out about the situation before the boy finally spoke up.

"So.... the voice's in my head are just.. me...? I'm not possessed..?"

"Well not exactly you but yes. You were never possessed and it is common for someone with DID to assume that prior to getting diagnosed but all and all it can be handled and doesn't have to be considered a bad thing. I explained the splitting a minute ago, your brain will try to object to you knowing you have DID, causing several splits but don't worry too much since they could take up to years and even if they are quick, you should have a gatekeeper. Do you know who your gatekeeper or any of the alters are or are you completely out of contact with them?"
