It had been a month. Thirty-three days since they had met the students that had inhabited Aizawa's sternly taught classroom for the very first time. Perhaps if she continued to get to know them through each day, she'd become closer and closer to understanding the loss of Hitoshi’s presence in the open for more than half of his current life. Niana had always been extremely social, leading to her constant visits to the dorms. She could never imagine the thought of disappearing off the face of all that could be seen by others. Of course she kept a multitude of her life to herself, yet, she still could not imagine going unseen for such a time as Hitoshi had.
Niana often brung Vee along with her, on her constant visits to meet up with her new-found close-ones. The other young adult swore he found it boring to stay home alone as his girlfriend hung out with all the people they knew. What would be the point of
It would have been a shame; for them to have separated on a daily basis. Always with the system, or Alex, Mila, Demi, or Niana's larger than typical family. Niana was one of seven children. She was the youngest, and all her siblings had lives of their own.
Everest was thirty-eight; he was a tattoo artist. Imani married her husband and owned a bakery that she had opened on her twenty-third birthday nearly nine years prior. Her daughter would turn 13 in October. Thirty-two year old Izara was a therapist. Dax had just turned thirty-seven; he was a pre-k teacher, a husband and a father to his adopted son, Okie. The small child was nearly two years of age. Omi had graduated med-school early and became a family medicine doctor. And Viana opened a clothing shop two years ago when she was twenty-seven. Izara and Imani were twins, and they had all practically raised her from a young age due to the demonic behaviors of their parents in her earliest years.
It hadn't been fair to Niana nor was it to her siblings for them to have to repair everything their parents had damaged. Yet, the girl wouldn't have asked for a new life, not when she had come out so far on-top. She wouldn't credit her parents for it, or her past. She wouldn't claim everything she had been through made her stronger. It had been cruel and unexplainable what had been done. But she was happy with the way she had been living the past few years. She had learned, not to get over it, but to not be trapped by what she had no chance of un-doing.
