Rocky slowly pushed the rest of her food away, averting eye contact with the older woman. Eri, now sleeping peacefully in Emi's arms and about five minutes before the girl had to take their meds. Emi looked up from the small child in her arms, seeing the girl hadn't gotten more than halfway through the six inch sandwich and she was already finished. Rocky was a system mom, she was good at taking care of the system but when it came down to herself, the only reason why she did anything at all was for the good of the others.
Rocky had, well, a rocky relationship with food. She didn't like the idea of eating or even the feeling of being full but she would eat 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 to insure the health of the others. Emi, however, wanted the teen to eat more. Emi wanted Rocky to not see eating as a task she had to take but as something in life she got to do, just like other people. Not everyone was able to see it as such and she just wanted it for her kids, even if she didn't know them very well yet.
"You sure, sunshine? I'm not going to make you but I'd like you to eat a bit more."
Emi gently nudged, hoping the teen would do as asked, not realizing the war her words would induce, now in the girl's head.
