I just came back from the hospital after taking my cast off. No more smelly casts for Harper Henson! Booyah!

I asked for a favor from the doctor to keep the cast. The cast--that became Lana's masterpeice--is more than just a reminder for me to be careful the next time, its also serves as a reminder that i am clumsy, stupid and foolish...

And do you know what's the fun part of having nothing to hold back your arms?

Its the unquestionably fact that you can freely slap anyone without hurting yourself along with it.

Too violent... Yeah yeah, i know i'm wa--

I was cut short when my phone rings.

"Lana?" I ask, wondering why she's been calling.

"Harpy, guess what?" The enthusiasm in her voice tells ne that whatever she needs to tell me, i have to get excited about.

"Well classes have been postponed for another week."

"You're kidding right?"

"No, i'm serious, i swear." She states, Lana's not good at lying so she must be really serious.

"And i was wondering if you can come to the art exhibit with me next friday? You can be my plus one. They've actually picked one of my murals to be displayed there." She adds.

"Oh my gosh! Lana i'm so proud of you! Sure, i'll come with you. Next friday, right?"

"Yeah, next friday, but its out of town. We're gonna have to go all the way to Stanchester. Is that okay with you?" She queries, but i hear in her voice that she really wants me to come.

"Of course, Lana."

"Eek, okay okay. Oh my gosh! Thank you! Thank you!" She shrieks, and i can tell that if she was here with me she would've engulfed me in a bone-crushing hug. She then hangs up.

I can't hide the grin that is forming across my face.

Yes! A week more!

I instantly call my dad to tell him that i can find some time to visit them within this week.

"Hey dad!" I cheerily greet when he finally picked up at the fourth ring.

"Hi sweetie." I furrow my brows upon hearing mum's voice through the speakers.

"Mum?"

"Yes, its me. Your dad's busy." She replies, i can imagine her smiling right now. "The resuming of our classes are moved a week later. And... I'm planning to go there, i haven't visited y'all for ages." I let out a low chuckle.

"Great! Just inform us when, okay?"

"Okay, mum. I love you." I say, then she hang up.

Look, if you have any problem with teenagers saying 'i love you' to their parents then you shouldn't have been born from your mother's womb!

Lilly barges in the room, shopping bags in hand.

"You went shopping, and you didn't tell me?" I narrow my eyes at her as she smiles nervously.

Her nervous smile turns into a teasing smirk. "You had a doctor's appointment." She points out to my cast--that i placed at the bedside table.

"Alright, you get a pass." I wave my hand dismissively.

"Harp, since school got out of the way for one more week, what are you planning to spend it for?" She asks, placing her hand lightly on my shoulder.

"Hmm..." I tapped my chin in anticipation. "I'm going to Caiwood. I haven't visited my family for a long time."

"Oh, great! Jake's been planning to go to Caiwood too," She replies.
