Koto opens their eyes, and before her, she sees the silhouette of a giant woman holding on tight to Straus, keeping him still and unable to escape. The woman speaks, "I would hate to see this...dust bunny suffer the same impurities as yourself... But it seems like she's too far gone already... as for you, Straus. You never deserved my gift." The woman raises her other hand in preparation to attack Straus, aiming for his right hand. Koto calls out, "No...! No!!"
Koto wakes up.
"NO!!"
"Mmm-!!" Straus also wakes up to the sound of her screaming.
"B-Brother!" Koto gets up, goes over to Straus, and holds his hand. "Are you ok-?!" Straus was still dazed and could barely process what was happening, but he made a noise to confirm he was, in fact, ok. Koto released her grip and was relaxed slightly.
"That was a bad dream... there was a giant lady!"
"Giant?"
"Mm-hm... her color was...green, I think- And she was about to hurt your hand!" Koto pondered the possibilities, "Maybe she wanted Para...?" She remembered the day they met Illumi and how a Beast can be released if their symbol is broken. While she was lost in thought, Straus was petrified with shock. He now knew what Koto saw in her nightmare; it was undoubtedly a vision of Gaia. His tone became flat, "...No..." Koto snapped back into reality and looked at him, "What's wrong?" He clears his throat, "Nothing, don't worry.", he says with a speck of nervousness. Koto was suspicious, "O...k? It just felt so real...", she was still shaken up.
"(There's no way she'd bother me again, right?)" Straus thought to himself.
