Chapter 33

Red jumps up upon seeing the others return home, "Oh hey, you're back! Who's the new person?" Pandora steps forward and greets her, "Hello, I'm Pandora. I'm Straus' mother", she smiles warmly while removing her cloak and folding it. "WAIT WHAT?", asks Red, completely in shock. She moves back a step, "(Oh my gosh...I'm already meeting his mother!!)", she struggles to hide a giddy smile.

"Also- ahem-", Straus interjects, "ApparentlyI'madevil-"

"So.", Red starts, "In the time you were out you found your mom and found out something new about yourself?"

"Talk about soul searching?", adds Koto.

"So, he's a black-eyed devil kid! I didn't even know devils could be Creators too!"

"Well- from what I'm understanding, they weren't Creators originally...They were made to be these "Devils" in their HomeWorld, right?"

"Correct", answers Pandora, "Funnily enough, it looks like we were also brought back to life in a similar fashion." "Say what now?", asks Straus, "Similar?"

"Oh! Straus was brought back by Princess Gaia.", explains Koto.

"Really now?", Pandora rubs the back of her head, for some reason looking somewhat embarrassed, "Well, I guess you could say another member of Gaia's family found me."

"...J- Jupiter?", Koto shivers, fearing the worst.

"Oh, heavens no! She's a b-"

"Then who?"

Red's jaw drops, "No way...King Saturn?" "King?", Straus and Koto question in unison. "Oh, don't worry!", Pandora reassures, "He's a total teddy bear once you get to know him~!" Just then, a tall, looming figure in an orange cloak appears in the Space through a portal and looks down upon the group. Koto, Straus, and Red freeze in fear as the cloaked individual casts a shadow over them. The figure takes a long, husky breath and speaks,

"...Did someone say teddy bear?"

King Saturn puts down his hood.

There's a pause.

And then Straus and Koto start screaming.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

"DON'T HURT US PLEASE!!", implores Koto.

Red doesn't fear the King, she just looks at him confused, "...Was he spying on us?" Saturn also removes his cloak and holds it, "You'd be surprised at how long we've been doing that, youngins." The siblings cease their screaming, "...How long have you been watching?", Straus asks, "Did you see the whole ordeal with Synthis?" "Yes,", responds Pandora, "Although we were fascinated by your connection to the Royals and their apparent hatred of you...I didn't realize it was you until made it back to our home... You had grown up so much, and your black hair made it hard to tell it was you..." "Speaking of", Straus ruffles his hair, "Why didn't I have my white hair when I came back? Gaia said it showed up for a brief moment while I was being reawakened." "Hmm...", Pandora looks to Saturn, "Perhaps her means of doing so wasn't perfected at that point?" "Correct", Saturn gives a slight smile, "She's still learning how to reconstruct life...after all, she gets it from me."

Straus looks at them, then at his hands, "It's weird how Synthis and Gaia bear similarities to each other even though he serves Jupiter...But, then again, without him, I wouldn't have this." Straus briefly turns into Divine Paranormatrix to show it off, before making the form fade away.

Pandora and Saturn look and each other and smile, this is exactly who they have been looking for.
