Chapter 37

Venus and Crescent are hot on the trail leading to Straus and Koto's Space. Alongside them are a few very anxious henchmen. "Madam Venus!", one henchman calls, holding up a device, "The energy readings are becoming stronger and more frequent, we're getting closer!" Venus claps her hands together, excited for the fight ahead, "Excellent!" Crescent puts a hand on her shoulder and points ahead, "Sister, look over there." Sure enough, in the distance, they see an indigo-colored Space, with a blue World and an orange World orbiting around it. "Aha!", Venus grins, "That's gotta be it!"

"M-Ma'am! The energy signatures are approaching us fast!"

Team Rebellion are making their way towards Venus and Crescent's location; a small army ready to defend their home. Ajax points ahead, "There, that's them." Nathaniel picks up his pace, "Nice! They even brought lackeys for us to stomp! Haha!" DarkClaw looks to Straus, "Awaiting your instruction, Straus." Straus holds his hand out, signaling for the group to stop, "Wait and see what they do." Saturn looks away, "As much as I hate to fight my children, this is how it has to be for the moment."

"Madam Venus! These readings suggest we're far outnumbered! Do you really want to proceed with this!?"

Venus moves forward, "This is for the good of the Multiverse! This is how it has to be!"

"B-But...according to this, among the group is Synthis- and- ...your father..."

"NEVER YOU MIND! Continue onward!"

Crescent freezes for a moment, "Synthis...? He...betrayed mother...?"

Everyone draws their weapons and prepares themselves to fight. Synthis points his spear towards the Royals, "Venus and Crescent...I'll help you see the truth in all of this."

Koto readies up and calls out, "Let's go!!"

Venus gives the order to charge, and in the blink of an eye, the two sides rush towards each other and clash. Jupiter watches this from Venus and Crescent's points of view, "Show them no mercy, girls! Rid the Multiverse of these impurities!" The Incarnates, assisted by Red, Pandora, Synthis, Gaia, and Saturn, make quick work of the sisters' soldiers. "Remember guys, no killing! Only subdue them!", Straus asserts. He and Koto rush forward and jump up, finally coming face to face with Crescent and Venus. "This would be a lot easier on all of us if you just left us alone!", Koto shouts. Venus scoffs, "And let impure rabble like you plague the Multiverse?! PLEASE!", she shoots fireballs at Koto, who then summons a barrier to deflect them.

Straus clashes with Crescent, "You know, this whole thing could have been solved simply by talking. But hey, you wanted this, so who am I to just sit back and take it!?"

Crescent summons shards of ice, "My loyalty lies with Jupiter... forgive me for this.", she throws the shards.

Straus barely dodges, "Mm-!! So, you're a 'no hard feelings' kind of person... but you don't really want to do this, do you?"
