After that debacle, they decided there was no point in trying to go back to sleep. The siblings yawned, stretched, and prepared to start the day. Koto, with a spring in her step, checks up on the World Orb she and Straus first bonded over. Since the first merging of their ideas, that World had evolved to be something much more than either of them could imagine. They also finally came up with a name for it.

They called it [Lightverse].

Ex, Uriel, and DarkClaw continued to be saviors for their home in their own right. Over the years, the three of them got stronger together; DarkClaw honed his skills in technology, Ex was practically superhuman in his agility, and Uriel had claimed a great power that was related to the origin story Koto wrote for her. The gang made many allies, as well as enemies. We will meet them in due time.

Koto then walks over to another orb, instead of the bright, warm-colored glow Lightverse possesses, this world glows with pure blue light. In the years Koto and Straus have known each other, they built another World together, it was based on Koto's ideas but it still had influences from her brother. Her idea of what a story could be was a bit different from Straus'. Within this orb are two different realities with multiple critical points where time splits, and yet all these fractured dimensions can coexist and not interfere with each other. The siblings were even able to communicate with every timeline's version of their Incarnates in that World: The Blue King and Princess. This World contained the story of a reborn Royal Family trying to defeat a band of delinquents trying to take over their home, their home known as DreamWorld.

And this World was named after the heroes that resided in it, it was called [Wanderers].

"Hello, DreamWorld!" Koto smiled at her World and all the people who lived in it, she treasured every one of them. She loved to watch the story unfold right before her eyes; as she watched she would recount the origin stories she and Straus wrote:

The wishes of Humanity culminated into a White Spirit and a Grey Spirit. The Spirits forged DreamWorld and three brothers of Red, Green, and Blue. Before leaving DreamWorld to its own devices, the Spirits blessed the land with their remaining energy and allowed humans to populate the land alongside the brothers. Many years passed, the brothers had become Kings; and ruled over DreamWorld peacefully, assisted by Nobleman of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. However, the peace would not last. The children of the Royals and Nobles would eventually fall into a great conflict that brought about the end of that era. The aforementioned Incarnates of Straus and Koto, Nathaniel and Catherine, were the children of the original Blue King and would be the driving force that would cause time to rupture depending on the decisions they made. As of this moment, there is three timelines in [Wanderers].

Timeline 1 was home to Azura, Nova, and Luna. Nathaniel took on the name Azura after being reborn alongside Nova, who, as Catherine, sacrificed half of her soul to the Grey Spirit to join her family in their next life. Luna is the other half of that soul and resides on DreamWorld's moon as the Moon Spirit thanks to the interjection of the White Spirit.

In Timeline 2, Nathaniel kept his name. Instead of bargaining with the Grey Spirit, Nathaniel killed them. He and Catherine, now known as Kali, enacted revenge on those who wronged them in their last life; and became known as the Fallen.

Finally, in Timeline 3, Nathaniel sacrificed his and Catherine's humanity. They were reborn as shadowy sub-humans that craved blood to sustain themselves. The two slept for most of the time, but their occasional hunting sprees were devastating. They were the Umbras: Amadi and Melanie.

For some reason, something in that World Orb would cause the story to reset every so often, starting from the very beginning. Koto didn't know how to fix it but was reassuring in that she'd find a way to fix it eventually. Catherine, Nathaniel, and their many variants are the only ones aware of the Resets due to their status as Incarnates.

Was it all what people would consider "Impure?"

Sure, it was.

But at least it was interesting.

What mattered to Koto and Straus was the fun they had making the Worlds. They didn't care what anyone else thought of it, it's not like anyone knows they're here together making them right?

Right?
