"We need to talk about what happened today" Mike speaks. "What was Will saying? Like home....like home....but, dark?" he wonders aloud, getting to his feet.
"And empty...." Lucas utters.
Dustin let out a sigh. "Empty and cold. Wait, did he say cold?" Dustin asks, unable to remember Will's exact words.
"I don't know. The stupid radio kept going on and out" Lucas says scornfully.
"He said cold. Um, guys?" Ziggy speaks up.
"How do you know?" Lucas challenges.
"Because..." Ziggy starts. "I know. I remember. Just let me speak, okay?"
When silence comes, does Ziggy starts explaining. "I saw Will. Like, in my head. And the Demogorgon. It had long arms and legs, very tall for a human. Almost human shaped. And the mouth..." the blonde's voice fades away with fear creeping up on her face.
"And these weirs dreams, I thought that's what they were. Dreams. But then it started happening when I was awake" Ziggy continues.
"Wait, like visions?!" Dustin exclaims with a smile on his face.
"What do you mean?" Lucas asks.
"Yeah, what are you getting at, Zig?" Mike agrees with his dark-skinned friend.

Ziggy looks at the spaceship and suddenly it starts floating in mid air. The boys lets screams escape from their mouths.
"How-" Lucas starts terrified.
"Holy shit!" Dustin smiles. "You're like the X-Men!"
"Oh, my freaking God! Zig, how did you not tell us about this earlier?" Lucas asks.
"Because...." Ziggy pauses, feeling the tears threatening to come. "I- I thought you would think of me, like.... a monster. Like I am worse than the Demogorgon"

"The Vale of Shadows is a dimension that is a dark reflection or echo of our world" he reads. "It is a place of decay and death. A plane out of phase. A place of monsters"
He looks up at the others with a frightened expression as he read the next part. "It is right next to you and you can't even see it"
"An alternative dimension" Mike mumbles darkly.
"But...how....how do we get there?" Lucas questions.
"You cast shadow walk" Dustin answers in
matter-of-factly.
"I think he meant in real life, Dusty. You know?" Ziggy says gently.
"Yeah. In real life, dummy" Lucas agrees.
"We can't shadow walk, but" Dustin cast a side gaze at El. "Maybe she can. And Ziggy, since she now has powers, which is awesome!"
The boys turns their heads towards El slowly. "Do you know how to get there? To the Upside Down?" Mike asks softly.
El tiredly shakes her head, earning a sigh from Lucas. "Oh, my God" the Sinclair boy utters.
