{006} The Monster

El and Ziggy are currently watching TV in Ziggy's room. El has her head leaned against Ziggy's shoulder.

The two is on their way to become best friends, they think at least. None of them have no idea about it could be more than that.

Suddenly, Ziggy flinches slightly and feels uncomfortable and gets this weird feeling.

Noticing this, El asks, "what is it? Is something wrong? Ziggy?"

"Yeah... I feel... weird... strange. Like...something is about to happen. Dangerous. Something dangerous" Ziggy says and then she closes her eyes.

El is quiet and let her concentrate while Ziggy sees it in front of her. Mike. Dead. In the same water that they found Will's 'body'.

She quickly opens her eyes. "We must go! I think our friends are in danger, El!" Ziggy exclaims and stands up.

She gives El a new set of clothes that was totally dirty after their walk in the woods. Pyjamas pants and a oversized sweatshirt. Then they goes to save their friends.

Stepping forwards towars rhe group of boys, including Troy, James, Dustin, and Mike, does Eleven takes Mike up, making him float in mid air and land at the ground close to Troy, James, and Dustin. All of them looks surprised. Both Mike and Dustin turns their eyes to the two girls.

Ziggy pulls out her hand and suddenly comes some lightnings from the sky down to the ground, right in front of Troy and James. Then El breaks Troy's arm.

"Go" El says in dark voice demandingly.

James runs away with Troy short after him. Both girls soon gets nosebleed.

"Yeah, you better run!" Dustin hollers after Troy and James. "They're are our friends and they're crazy! You come back here and they'll kill you! They'll kill you, you sons of bitches!"

Then both El and Ziggy falls to the ground unconscious, while Mike tries to wake up El, does Dustin tries to wake up Ziggy.

"What the hell?" Dustin exclaims as he sits beside Ziggy's body.

El soon wakes up but Dustin still tries to make Ziggy wake up. "Zig! Come on, Ziggy! Don't die! We already lost Byers!"

Suddenly, Ziggy wakes up with widen eyes and loudly gasp, sitting straight up.

"Dustin" she breathes out.

"Oh, my God! Ziggy, you're okay" he breathes out in relief as he hugs her.

Then they goes over to Mike and El, joins their hug.

"Where is Lucas?" Ziggy asks as they pulls away.

"Um..." Mike starts.

"He is still mad" Ziggy states with a sad and hurt look on her face.

Dustin hugs her again in comfort, he knows how close she and Lucas is. Their parents is, like, best friends and childhood friends. So they met as babies. They got even closer after Ziggy's parents deaths. Mr. And Mrs. Sinclair let Ziggy spend much time at their house, and she got close with Erica, Lucas's sister. Ziggy started like the sassy and feisty kid.

"Chrissy! Lucas, you sissy, you smart and least foolish friend is here!" Erica says as she opens the door and sees Ziggy.

"Erica, hey! How are you?" Ziggy greets polite with a smile. "How are your parents? And school? Living with Lucas? Still a pain in the ass?"

Erica shakes her head. "You have no idea, Chrissy. And it's nice that one of his friends sees him for what he truly are"

"I am his friend, not his slave or blind" Ziggy sasses jokingly making Erica let out a laugh.

"What?" Lucas says annoyed as he steps towards the door. "Whatever it is, Erica. Can't it wait-" he pauses and freezes when he sees Ziggy and she awkwardly waves and a smile that matches her wave.

"Hey, Lucas" Ziggy says.

"I'm gonna leave you two" Erica says, looking between them, and then leaves.

"Um, Ziggy-" Lucas starts. "Come in"

Ziggy smiles as she slowly and carefully enters the Sinclair house.

"So, what's up?" Lucas asks awkwardly.

"Um, I.... I just want to say that I'm sorry. I should've told you the truth" Ziggy apologises.

"I'm sorry too. For calling you a traitor and all that other bad stuff. You are not a monster, or a traitor. You are my amazing best friend with these amazing powers!" Lucas exclaims.

"You are my longest friend and best friend. You're, like, my platonic soulmate. I never meant to hurt you, I am sorry. We all focused so much at El, we totally forgot you. I know you want to find Will, but you are also hurt because everyone focuses on Eleven" Ziggy continues.

Lucas cracks into a amusing smile. "You know me so well, Christine Spence"

"You are truly my best friend, Lucas Sinclair. Any girl would be lucky to have you" Ziggy says with a genuine smile.

Then they hugs for quite a while, as the best friend they are. Always making up after a whole, they both can be stubborn but in the end, none of them wants to loose their best friend.
