"You sure that was Dart?" Lucas questions skeptically.
"Yes, he had the same exact yellow pattern on his butt" Dustin replies.
"But he was tiny two days ago" Max comments in disbelief.
"Well, he's already molted three times today" Dustin adds.
"Malted?" Steve questions in confusion.
"Molted. Shed his skin to make room for more growth. Like hornworms" Ziggy explains.
"How the heck are you so smart?" Max asks.
"When is he doing to molt again?"
"Probably soon. And when he does, he will be fully grown, or close to it" Dustin replies nonchalantly.
"Yeah, and he's going to eat a lot more than just cats" Steve adds.
"Wait, what? Dart ate a cat?" Lucas practically yells.
"No? What? No" Dustin denies.
Steve furrows his eyebrows in confusion. "What are you talking about? He ate Mews"
"STEVE"
"Who's Mews?" Max asks.
"It's Dustin's cat" Ziggy replies.
"Steve" Dustin whines.
"I knew it! You kept him!" Lucas accuses.
"N-no, no, no I- he missed me, he wanted to come home" Dustin stutters. Ziggy holds his hand to show him she supports him, no matter what.
"Bullshit" Lucas snaps, looking down at their hands. "So, what's it, Ziggy? You're on his side?"
"What? No! I'm not on anyone's side. I- I just think we shouldn't fight over those stupid little things. Dustin kept Dart, so what? We can't do anything to that now. But, what we can do, is save Will" Ziggy says.
"Yeah, and I didn't know he was a Demogorgon" Dustin pouts in defense.
"Oh, so now you admit it?"
Ziggy sighs, knowing they ignore her as usual, that's the thing with boys, if you don't choose a side, they ignore you.
"Guys, who cares? We have to go" Max reminds.
"I care! You put the party in jeopardy! You broke the rule of law!" Lucas shouts.
"So did you" Dustin retorts.
"What?"
"You told a stranger the truth"
"Stranger?" Max questions offended, stepping into the argument.
"You wanted to tell her too" Lucas retorts.
"Yeah, but I didn't. I didn't, Lucas. We both broke the rule of law, okay, so we're even" Dustin declares sharply.
