Everyone sleeps in the Wheeler basement, as they decide to stick together. Everyone is sleeping, except Ziggy who has her arms wrapped around Max's body. The redhead's head rests on Ziggy's stomach. Max is also awake, she hasn't slept well after finding out Ziggy might die today and if the gate is open, The Mind Flayer might come back. What if it takes Billy again?
Ziggy carefully and slowly lays the redhead on Lucas' stomach instead and stands up silently. She's about to walk up the stairs through the basement door, when a voice stops her.
"Hey. You're good?" Max asks.
"Um, yeah. Sorry, did I wake you, red?" Ziggy asks, facing Max.
"No, I was already awake. I can't sleep as I worry for you" Max informs.
"Okay" Ziggy whispers, hovering over Max. "Um, Max?"
"Yes?"
"Can you stay with me and follow me upstairs? I don't really wanna be alone right now" Ziggy requests, feeling embarrassed over having to ask for something like this.
"Ziggy, of course I will come with you. Don't feel embarrassed, please" Max replies.
Ziggy nods simply, pursing her lips as she begins to walk upstairs with Max at her heels.
They walk out of the basement seeing Karen making breakfast, Ted reading his newspaper and Holly at the table coloring.
"Morning, Max, Ziggy" Mrs. Wheeler smiles as she flips a few pancakes.
"Good morning, Mrs. Wheeler" Ziggy greets politely.
"Ziggy, you can call me Karen have I told you" Mrs. Wheeler scolds jokingly.
Ziggy chuckles slightly and forcefully before sitting down next to Holly. Max stands up still, watching the blondes at the table.
"Hey, Holly bear?" Ziggy begins.
Mrs. Wheeler smiles at the two blondes interaction.
"Yes?" Holly looks up at Ziggy, the girl she looks up to.
"Can I borrow some of your colors?" Ziggy asks gently.
"Yeah" Holly replies, not looking up from her drawing.
Ziggy grabs a few papers and crayons.
"What are you doing?" Max questions.
"It's so hard to explain what I saw in there, with Vecna. So I thought it'd be easier to draw what I saw" Ziggy explains, picking up the dark red crayon.
Max nods slowly. "All right"
Ziggy starts to draw a few drawings with Holly glancing at her drawings.
"You're good, Ziggy!" Holly exclaims in her light voice.
Ziggy smiles at her. "Yours are pretty too, Holly"
Holly smiles proudly.

Soon after Ziggy has finished a few drawings, Nancy comes up from the basement with Dustin not too far behind.
