THAT'S NOT GARBAGE
"Woah," Rey says surprised when she sees the hilts of the lightsabers.
"How-How do you have those?" Finn asks just as sirens go off, warning of an air strike. Finn grabs Rey's hand again and tries to grab Ceren's arm as well but she manages to evade his reach.
"Stop taking my hand!" Rey yells at Finn, Finn ignores her and pulls Rey from the tent with BB-8 and Ceren following behind them. Ceren can hear the screech of the TIE Fighter. Ceren turns her head and sees the fighters coming into view. Ceren could sense what was next and before the fighter fires at them Ceren uses the Force to push BB-8, Finn, and Rey out of the way. They tumbled down from the push and before Ceren had time to think about herself the TIE fighter fires down at her. She doesn't take a direct hit, but the blast throws her onto the ground hard. Ceren groans in pain and Rey and Finn rush over to help her up. BB-8 beeps frantically, worried about Ceren.
"Are you okay?" Finn asks her worriedly. Ceren lets out another groan as she manages to get herself up before more blasts come their way.
"Yeah," Ceren manages to say, "just peachy." Ceren looks around and sees stormtroopers making their way and sending blasts and they hear the screeches of the TIE fighters in the distance.
"Follow me," Rey tells them. Ceren ignites her lightsabers, ready to deflect the blasts from the troopers. Ceren follows behind them, so she is able to block what gets fired their way. They run towards the spaceport, trying to escape from the First Order. Blasts from the TIE fighters get closer and Finn begins to grow worried.
"We can't outrun them!" Finn cries out.
"We might in that quad-jumper," Rey says back and points towards the ship ahead. Ceren manages to tune out Rey and Finn as they banter back and forth and when Finn points out another ship, Ceren's eyes widen with surprise.
"What about that ship?" Finn asks Rey.
"That one's garbage!" Rey tells Finn.
"That's not garbage," Ceren yells to the two and just as she says that the ship that Rey was trying to reach gets blown up.
"The garbage will do!" Rey exclaims.
"That's not garbage!" Ceren repeats herself as they run towards the familiar ship, well familiar to Ceren. The group onto the ship and Rey begins to hit the controls and get the ship fired up.
"Gunner position's down there!" Rey directs Finn.
"Y'ever fly this thing?" Finn asks Rey as he climbs down.
"No! This ship hasn't been flown in years!" Rey explains to Finn. Ceren had no idea that this ship had been here for so long, she wondered if Han Solo was okay.
"I've flied it before," Ceren tells both Rey and Finn. Rey looks surprised and can imagine that Finn has the same look on his face, "I'll help you get set up but then I am going to go to the other gunner position and help Finn take down the fighters." Ceren begins to give a quick run down of the control panel and then gives Rey a reassuring smile, "You can do this Rey, I believe in you."
