Q: Why did I rewrite the Bardock Movie "Bardock; Father of Goku" and "Episode of Bardock" Specials?

A: I wanted to rewrite the Bardock Movie and its related material in the form of "Bardock; Father of Goku!" and "Saiyan Legend" because we've been given new material to work with for his character, so I wanted the "Origin" stories to be more up-to-date. I also rewrote them to close plot holes related to my Dragon Ball Super Rewrite chapter 3, wherein I started discussing the legend of a Saiyan God (the replaced name for Super Saiyan God). But, most importantly, the rewrite had to occur to set up information regarding our characters as quickly and efficiently as possible while giving a direct indication of how the timeline of this series functions.

Q: Why did Bardock achieve Super Saiyan despite no build-up for it?

A: I wanted Bardock to be the first Super Saiyan in history as sort of an ironic moment. It's been hinted at during the Episode of Bardock that he was the FIRST Super Saiyan all things considered, and I thought it was a fitting way to tie in the Episode of Bardock to his new canon in this story. I also believe because this is the last time Bardock's relevance to the story will occur, he deserved the power-up in order to give a further impact on future events of the series. Specifically when I rewrite my rewrite of the Dragon Ball Super (A Rewrite) series.

Q: Why did I give Bardock the power to see the future yet have him not use it during the "Saiyan Legend" chapter?

A: He's been using the power the entire time. Bardock uses his see the future ability the entire time during the Saiyan Legend chapter, and even states himself or hints that he's been using it or has knowledge of the future whenever he's talked to the other characters present. However, a major reason it's only hinted at and not officially stated within the chapter itself is that this is technically the past and becoming the future that we will get to see.

Q: Is Bardock stuck in an infinite loop?

A: No, Bardock isn't stuck in an infinite loop where he confronts Frieza, goes to the past, is born, confronts Frieza, goes to the past, etc., etc. The events happen where after he confronts Frieza for the first time, he doesn't ever relive it. Bardock's story ends in the Saiyan Legend chapter, as it was his "Episode of Bardock" while also closing some plots that I've or the canon series has started.

Q: Will I use anything that's been used in this Rewrite when I tackle Dragon Ball Super: Broly?

A: Yes. I can't completely say anything else on the matter, but a lot of the stuff mentioned in the "Bardock; Father of Goku!" and "Saiyan Legend" chapters relating to Bardock will get some mentions, mostly with the former chapter mentioned.

Q: What's with the rewrite to "Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone"?

A: I rewrote Dead Zone because I didn't really like the story it presented but did enjoy most of its action. And I also didn't like how Garlic Junior was dealt with or handled as a character, so I wanted to flesh him out a little more while also hitting the major beats. I completely reworked the characters and when it took place to make sure it was CANON to THIS STORY, as well as the Dead Zone ability. Instead of making it a portal, while it still can be used like that, I wanted it to be used in a way that could have greater consequences and lead to a better downfall for Garlic Junior. The Dead Zone ability had a lot of potential uses, and I thought it'd be fun to tackle a Garlic Junior whose power is becoming too much for his Immortal Body to contain thanks to him "merging" with the Dead Zone and having it absorb Nicky, Sansho, and Ginger.

If you have any other questions, drop them in the comments and I will answer them there! I might even move them to this chapter!
