Dragon Ball Z (A Rewrite)

Chapter 2-9 | Namek Saga | Frieza's Power!

Frieza stared onward, falling to the ground as the mountain had disintegrated, landing gracefully. "Well?! Where are the Dragon Balls!"

Vegeta cursed, turning toward them, before turning back toward Frieza, who had been powering up out of rage. Sweating a little, Vegeta clenched his fist. "It's too late! They're stone now and of no use! But no worries, you won't need them anyways since you're going STRAIGHT TO HELL!!!"

Gohan backed up once, pushing Dende to go hide. "His power...it's so high!"

Krillin gulped. "He's...he's too strong! We can't beat him!"

Frieza's tail lightly hit the ground, a crater forming from the sheer power as he stared at them. "Of course, you can! Just like three worms can beat a star!"

Vegeta's aura engulfed him. "We can beat him! We've fought together quite a bit since we arrived on this planet and know what each of us is capable of! If we work together, I know we can!" Vegeta, on the inside, however, was thinking about those increasing powers in the background. 'Just whose powers are those?!'  Vegeta thought.

Frieza stopped, chuckling slightly. "Oh my Vegeta! Since when were you such the dreamer?!"

Vegeta smirked. "None of you seem to realize just how the Earthlings' battle power keeps rising! Even the young one has powers in him that he can't even BEGIN to dream of! However, I, FRIEZA, SLOWLY BECOME WHAT YOU FEAR MOST! THE SUPER SAIYAN!!!""

Frieza stared on in shock before he spoke. "I'm so glad I paused to talk with you. Super Saiyan indeed...hehehehehe...NOW YOU DIE!!!"

Frieza had lunged in at roughly 20% of his First Form's power, not wanting to put the Saiyan down yet. Then, with his aura still extended around his body, he went for a kick toward the Saiyan's head. Vegeta swiftly jumped around it, hitting the ground as he leaped off and toward Frieza, going for a punch. However, Frieza's tail wrapped around his fist, throwing Vegeta into the air.

Frieza's eyes widened as his scouter began beeping. "Oh?! Your power is rising Vegeta!"

Vegeta smirked, his aura extended. "I bet you had no idea I could contend with you!" Vegeta shouted, his aura exploding around him violently as he pulled his arms back. "Take this! LUCORA GUN!!" Vegeta began pushing his hands forward, firing blast after blast.

Gohan's eyes widened. "Vegeta's contending so well!"

Krillin nodded. "He's actually fighting him off!"

Frieza quickly pointed his finger upward, firing a barrage of death beams at each energy blast. "DEATH BEAM BARRAGE!"

As they collided, an explosion ensued that kicked up dust.

Frieza gritted his teeth. "Come out come out wherever you are, Saiyan!"

Vegeta quickly flew around and behind Frieza, going for a kick. "Take this!"

Frieza, having heard the Saiyan roaring as he flew, quickly leaped up to evade, his tail slamming off the ground and flipping the tyrant away, as he touched the ground. "Your power..."

Frieza looked at the scouter, watching it explode off his face. "Truly marvelous. You may match my first form of power. Though I'm not sure when you accomplished such a feat. This means I can't hold back and only use 1/5th of my power! HRAAAAAA!!!!" Frieza's aura exploded as his energy rapidly increased.

Frieza shook his head. "I see, you weren't entirely bluffing afterall."

Gohan just watched on, thinking. 'To think Vegeta's right! If we fight together, maybe we c-could do it! Frieza's powerful and fights well, but our strength increased!!!'
