Dragon Ball Z (A Rewrite)

Chapter 1-2 | Saiyan Saga | Fight for Gohan! Raditz vs The Alliance!

Goku panted, staring over toward Gohan and Raditz's direction. "Damn it! They took Gohan!"

Krillin clenched his fist. "I'm sorry...Goku! I should have stopped him...! I should have done something!"

Goku shook his head. "Don't worry about it now, Krillin. It's too late. We just have to get him back now."

Piccolo was hovering in the sky, staring at Goku. "So I take it you'll want my help then, Goku?"

Goku smirked, his eyes drifting towards Piccolo. "Let me guess; you got some beef with the guy too Piccolo?"

Piccolo smiled as he landed in front of Goku. "Your damn right Goku. He threatened me, and my attacks alone did nothing to him. From what I saw, your attacks don't do much damage either. So I propose we team up to take him down. It'll help get your son back as well."

Goku nodded, walking toward Piccolo as he extended his hand. "This is the second time we've teamed up Piccolo! Raditz doesn't feel as strong as Garlic Junior was, but he's pretty close. We'll need everything we've got to beat him! I don't suppose you have a new technique up your sleeve, do you?"

Piccolo chuckled. "If we need to use it, I do. I've developed something in the last two years that might give us the win. But, let's see how that goes." Piccolo then shakes Goku's hand, staring down Goku. "But remember; We are ENEMIES right after this."

Goku nods as he leaps into the sky, calling forth the Nimbus as both he and Piccolo fly after Raditz. Shortly afterward, Bulma, Krillin, and Roshi get on Bulma's ship and they begin chasing after Goku slowly.

Goku turned towards Piccolo while they were flying. "Piccolo, what exactly transpired between you and Raditz?"

Piccolo had his arms crossed as he stared at Goku for a moment, before turning straight. "I get it. You want to hear how we fought to try and come up with a plan to counterattack his fighting style. That's ingenious Goku. So I'll indulge in this little plan one time."

Goku smirked, nodding. "That's the plan alright. I hope it'll work. If it comes down to it I'd like to keep him alive. Try to redeem him, in a way. But for now, we need to beat him."

Both Piccolo and Goku began talking and formulating the plan as they flew towards Raditz.

With Raditz

Gohan was hiding under a truck as Raditz quickly punched into the truck, lifting it as he vaporized it.

Gohan stared at Raditz. "M...My daddy can do that too you know! Why are you doing this? Why are you being mean to me?! I didn't do anything to you!"

Raditz scoffed, staring at Gohan. Gohan began crying as Raditz lifted Gohan by the shirt, skidding down the crater his pod landed in as he opened it only to throw Gohan in.

Raditz stared at Gohan. "My nephew, you are a Saiyan Warrior as well. You need to toughen up. You can't cry at everything. Do something about it, not just cry. You can come out of the pod when you've stopped crying; Understand?"

Gohan banged on the door as Raditz leaped out the crater, looking around for somewhere he could grab a bite to eat. Raditz then noticed his scouter go off and Gohan's power increase to over 700. What the hell was going on? However, before he could do anything, he noticed two other power levels coming straight at him. The readings were from Piccolo and Goku! Suddenly, both Goku and Piccolo landed a few feet in front of Raditz as the Nimbus flew off.
