Q: Why did I rewrite the Saiyan Saga?
A: Well, after reading the entire Saiyan Saga, you could probably tell I have big plans for the characters who may have been tossed aside. Despite what may be believed, I have new plans for Nappa as well in the GT Rewrite. Figured I'd use the Z Rewrite to focus on Raditz. Basically, I rewrote it in order to set in motion the changes for this series.
Q: Why did Raditz die to Nappa's Bomber DX? Will this conclude his 'character arc?'
A: Raditz died to Nappa's Bomber DX to INITIATE his character arc! There's still a lot left to do for Raditz, and I don't want to give any spoilers. But, I plan on giving character arcs to everyone, including Raditz. Raditz's character arc truly started with his sacrifice and will come full circle during the Android/Cell Saga. Even some of the other characters like Piccolo will have their character arcs wrap up soon to make way for new ones like Tien and the others. (More on this during the Namek ARC that will show it in full motion.)
