Chapter 2-5.5 | Namek Saga | Otherworld Fight: Raditz vs Piccolo

King Kai shook his head. "You both, I'll never get this. You've fought each other countless times, and while it is a great increase to your power...I still don't know how you don't get bored of it."

Piccolo smirked, his eyes staying on Raditz as he spoke. "We're rivals. Raditz here is someone I must continue to one-up."

Raditz chuckled, clenching his fist. "My blood is racing, start the fight already Kai!"

King Kai sighed. "BEGIN--"

With barely any time to finish the word begin, both Raditz and Piccolo charged forward, locking their hands as a shockwave pushed off them, with them both trembling in excitement.

King Kai was pushed back by sheer force, skidding to a halt. "They're moving at such speed already!?"

Yamcha looked on in surprise. "They're not holding an ounce of power back!"

Tien nodded. "They activated their maximum Kaioken roughly the same time to get the quickest burst of speed and power!"

Raditz gritted his teeth, bringing his right leg forward and thrusting it into Piccolo's stomach, releasing his hands at the same time to send him flying backward. "Thank you Piccolo for teaching me how to be an excellent strategist!" Raditz shouted, quickly charging forward and firing a blast at the ground to release a massive dust cloud, suppressing his energy.

Piccolo caught himself, grunting as he looked around, his eyes covered by the dust thus blocking his sight. "Tch! Hiding your energy?! That's not enough!" Piccolo quickly leaped in the air, evading a sweep kick from Raditz as he spun his body around, extending his leg outward to kick Raditz across the face.

Raditz crashed against the ground, flipping up as he swiped his hand, clearing the dust cloud to reveal three Ki Blasts surrounding Piccolo. "HRA!"

Piccolo watched onward, quickly covering himself in Ki as his body tinted red slightly, with him bursting forward just as the blasts would have connected, resulting in the blasts colliding with each other and showcasing a small explosion behind Piccolo.

Tien clenched his fist. "They're both so far ahead...not in terms of power, but in how they utilize their ki so expertly...!"

Yamcha began sweating a little bit, staring at them. "Their power definitely outclasses mine but their Ki Skill is another story..."

Chiaotzu just sweated, staring at them.

King Kai stared onward. "This is incredible! If they had this kind of strength, they could probably easily take out Vegeta when he first arrived on Earth!"

Raditz stared at Piccolo. "Hear that Green Man?! We're eclipsing the others and we're superior to Vegeta!"

Piccolo smirked, nodding. "This fight is still going, so why don't you FOCUS!" Piccolo shouted, his limbs stretching down straight towards Raditz, striking at him.

Raditz quickly flipped backward, evading the strikes as Piccolo's limbs hit the ground instead, creating a small crater. Smirking, Raditz flipped to the left this time as he evaded another extended limb strike, before turning and firing a blast behind him that stopped another of Piccolo's limbs.

"!" Raditz's eyes widened as he watched Piccolo move his body towards his limbs at a fast speed, striking him across the face and sending Raditz skidding backward.

"Heh," Piccolo started, taking his stance as his eyes darted around, analyzing carefully. "You still have a lot to learn about strategy!"

Raditz quickly caught himself, only to take his own stance and stare at him. Then, he lifted both hands up, leaping into the sky as he formed two purple energy blasts. "DOUBLE SUNDAY!" Raditz shot them down, unleashing two beams as he began spinning, the beams circulating around him and following where Raditz had spun.
