A week later Sharon sat in her room. She was nervous, the thing was, her family didn't really know she was dating Steve Rogers. Peggy had died just a little while ago, and if they found out she was dating her dead grand aunts boyfriend, there may be a little trouble. The problem was, her mum and dad were arriving today.

Her parents had desperately wanted to see there daughter, and when Nick fury, a close friend, had invited them over, she couldn't convince them otherwise.

But everyone in the building now( apart from fury and of course Steve) thought her family was ok with it, so she couldn't just tell them not to mention it. She would have to improvise.

Suddenly there was a soft knock on her door. She ran to it. Steve stood there nervously. " There here," he said
" Ok, remember we are not dating," she responded, before running down the hall. " Mum, dad!" She said happily, hugging them both.

Steve came in just in time to see this, and, almost instinctively, looked over at Natasha. She was looking at the floor, feet grasped to her chest last she sat bolt upright on the sofa. He knew she desperately wished to have a family, and it hurt her when this sort of thing happened. Apart from Clint, she had told no one but him, and he felt honoured that she had. He made is way over to nat, and sat down, staring at her.

Natasha looked up from the ground to see two pairs of eyes looking her was. Sharon was looking at her smugly, as if this was some massive victory. Natasha felt like slapping her. But then she looked over at the other pair of eyes, Steve's. He looked extremely concerned, but also looked like he cared so much, and Natasha instantly calmed down. Are you ok? He mouthed. She nodded untruthfully. He sighed.

Mrs Carter looked over her daughters shoulder and noticed another girl looking sad sitting on the sofa. And then she saw the one and only captain America sit next to her, staring at her. When the girl looked up, he smiled warmly. Mrs Carter smiled too.

" Well, I might as well introduce you to the team!" Sharon said smiling round. " Over there are Nick and Maria, of course, you know them already. By the fireplace are Scarlett witch(Wanda), ant man(Scott), and Hawkeye (Clint). Behind you are the falcon( Sam), and the winter soldier ( bucky). And last on the sofa are the black widow ( Natasha) and captain America ( Steve).

At his name Mr and Mrs Carter looked at him. " Well it's a pleasure to meet you all, specially you cap, Peggy told us so much about you!" Mrs Carter said. Steve smiled sadly at the mention of Peggy. ," Agent Carter, we have a report to finish," Nick fury spoke up. " Of course sir, a agents work is never done," she laughed, waving goodbye to her parents.

" So," bucky asked once Sharon had left," how do you feel about your daughter da-"
" Nat!" Steve said loudly," how bout you show Mr and Mrs Carter to there room! It must have been a long ride!"
Natasha looked at him curiously.
" Yeah sure," she said uncertainly," this way guys,"

She and the Carter's made there way to the stairs. " So," Mrs Carter spoke kindly," your the black widow, captain America's partner." Natasha laughed.
" Partner in crime, yes"
" Make quite the team don't ya," Mr Carter laughed.
" Yeah I guess!" Natasha said back.
" Oh, here we are, sorry it's a bit small, it was a little study place just yesterday!" Natasha apologized.

She then turned around and started walking away." Wait dear,"
Natasha paused. No one had ever called her dear before. " Yes?" She asked. " Why don't you stay and talk to us for a while!" Mrs Carter asked kindly. 'She was so different from Sharon, this was genuine kindness and care.' Natasha thought.
" That would be nice," she answered.

For a while they chatted about work, and money and ordinary things then mr Carter said seriously," we are awfully sorry about Sharon."
" What?" Natasha said surprised.
" We saw the look she gave you, she does tend to get jealous easily," Mrs Carter sighed.

" Jealous?" Natasha said, stunned, no one was ever jealous of her, right?
" What has she to be jealous of?" She questioned. The two looked surprised.
" When was the last time somebody complimented you?" Mrs Carter asked .
" I dunno, a errrr, while ago," Natasha said, with no emotion.
" But dear, there is so much to be jealous of, how strong you are, how clever you are, how brave you are!" Mr Carter said, amazed.
" Really?" Natasha questioned.

" Seems to me the only person who understands you is captain America." Mrs Carter said.
" Yes, yes we saw him comfort you when we arrived." Mr Carter laughed.
Natasha nodded. " I've got one question for you," he carried on," when will we be invited to your wedding?"
" What, no!" Natasha protested. The two laughed and shook there heads.

Natasha was confused, why would they be saying this, when there daughter is dating dating Steve. " No, no, no, " Natasha laughed," but I'll be having the best seats for Steve and Sharons wedding!"
" WHAT!" The two parent shouted in sink.
" Yeah, I mean they've been dating for a few months now haven't they!" Natasha smiled. Then she saw there shocked faces. Her smile slowly faded as she realized. " Shit!" She said, before running out the room.

" ROGERS!" She shouted when she got to the kitchen/ sitting room. Everyone looked up. " WHY THE HELL DIDNT YOU TELL ME MR AND MRS CARTER DON'T KNOW THAT UR DATING!"
Steve quickly pailed. " You, you told them?" He asked.
" By accident yes!" Natasha replied.
" Whoa slow down, they don't know your dating? Why?" Scott asked.
" Cause Steve used to date Sharons grand aunt Peggy Carter." Bucky sighed," wth Steve."

" So Rogers you wanna go for a run?" Sam asked pointedly.
" Yep, let's go, now!" Steve replied, running to the door. They disappeared just as Sharon came in the room. Everyone stared at her. " What?" She asked.
Suddenly her parents were standing in the hallway." We need to have a talk, little missy." Her father said.
" Okay," Sharon stammered.
