Steve walked out among the crowd, seeing bucky and making his way towards him. " Hi," he said
" Hey," bucky replied.
They stood and watched everyone go by them, dressed in bright colours of the rainbow.

Suddenly Steve felt a hand on his shoulder, making him jump high in the air. He thought bucky would laugh, but instead he was looking determinedly in front of him, a deep thrown on his face.

" Hey Stevie!" A voice said with a giggle. Steve's heart sunk. " Did I scare you?" Sharon asked.
" No." Steve said bluntly. Out of the corner of his eye he saw her hurt expression, and immediately felt guilty. " You want to get food?" He said in what he hoped was a happy tone. Her expression immediately brightened. Sharon grabbed Steve's hand, pulling him towards the food table. Steve looked back to see buckys disappointed expression as he pointed out the 2 of them to Sam who shook his head.

Steve grabbed a slice of Victoria sponge cake. Then him and Sharon started walking randomly around, her chattering between mouthfuls of ice cream.

Steve had his eyes on the ground the whole time, following Sharon about. Unfortunately this meant he could not see people coming towards him, and all of a sudden he'd crashed into someone, spilling there food onto the ground.

" Shit!" He said, crouching down to pick up the contents. "Language," an amused voice said. Steve looked up quickly, his face suddenly inches away from Natashas. She had a crown braid in her hair, and was wearing a pale yellow off the shoulder dress, ' wow' Steve thought. " Steve?" Nat asked, tilting her head and half smiling.

" S sorry," he said nervouly. She raised her eyebrows. ' keep it together Steve,' he told himself, bending down to pick up the fallen food" Don't bother," Natasha said," I'll just go get something else." She then turned, grabbed Lila's hand, who was standing beside the two of them, and walked away. Lila turned and looked curiously at Steve.

" Antie nat?" Lila whispered.
"Mmmm," Natasha said absentmindedly, thinking about what just happened.
" Do, do you like captain America?" She asked innocently.
Natasha stared at her," what no, why would you think that?"
" You were blushing, and daddy says you never ever blush." Lila smiled.
" Maybeeee," Natasha said teasingly.

"WHAT!" A voice said excitedly behind them. Natasha turned around quickly. " I was joking." She said, trying to remain calm."
" Really tho?" Clint smirked at her.
" Look daddy she's blushing again!" Lila said, bouncing up and down.
" She is!" Clint said, bouncing up and down, " I cannot believe you have a crush on st-" Natasha slapped her hand onto his mouth just in time before Sharon walked up to them.

" Hey," she said, specifically to Clint it seemed," have you seen Steve."
Natasha slowly removed her hand from his mouth, death glared him, and walked away, finding cooper and letting him and lila go off together. She sighed. Then she caught sight of Steve, and started to smile a little.

She saw Sharon walk up and hold his hand, and her smile fell. He would never choose her over Sharon. "You really like him!?" Clint said from behind her." Yeah, I guess," Natasha replied, smiling.
