The avengers stared. " Don't even ask" Natasha said grimly. Thor took her advice, he didn't ask, he charged. Quick as a flash Loki whipped out his daggers and pointed them in front of him. Coming to a stop, the daggers point a centimeter away from his throat, Thor said," you are dead!"

Loki sighed," I am the god of mischief brother, you should have expected this."
" Why!?" Thor asked.
Loki lifted the dagger slowly so Thor's chin could have rested on it. " Steve!" Natasha shouted warningly.
" I want the throne," Loki whispered, before lunging with dagger but just in time caps shield nocked it out his hand. Loki looked up from staring at the dagger to face adleast 10 avengers, and smiled. There was something else in his hand," LOOK OUT!"  Tony shouted. Loki through it at the wall. There was a loud bang. Loki jumped out the whole he'd just made.

Clint ran over to Natasha, whose chains had came off in the explosion. " What happened?" He asked.
" Nevermind that now," Natasha grunted, pointing out if the whole. Standing there were adleast 100 human like creatures, human like because although they had the same body's as them, the creatures had smiles that stretched higher than there eyes, which were barely visible. There skin was a purplish blue, scaly and had many marks from previous fights.

" We have to find Loki!" Thor said, raising his hammer. " No!" Natasha said, everyone looked at her," he wants you dead Thor, he wants Asgard, let's just focus on killing these things before they cause to much havock," she reasoned.

Steve looked at her, " you here that team, protect the city and kill these things!" He said.

They charged forwards, making there way through the creatures, but many still got away, into new York. In the distance they heard sirens. The avengers ran after them, stark and Rhodey flying ahead.
" Cap there in the center." Natasha heard iron man say.
" We need to get there faster!" T'challa said, speeding off in his black panther suit. The hulk charged after him.
Natasha looked at Steve," shield?" She asked. Steve smirked" let's try," He through it as hard as he could as Natasha stepped in it's way, neatly jumped to avoid it, landing on top of the shield and whizzing off in the fights direction.
" Wow!" Wanda exclaimed.

Natasha dropped down in the centre of new York, the bright billboards flashing in her eyes. She caught the shield just in time to block a falling brick from landing on her head. " Hey red!" Tony called, flying in front of her pushing a creature into a wall," nice moves,"
Natasha smirked and flung her shield in the direction of some creatures heads, chopping off 3 neatly in a row.

The others reached the centre. Thor's hammer flew past Scotts ear, who activated his pim particals  and started growing, narrowly missing Sam flying past him, dangling a creature which he sent flying in Bucky's direction. Bucky flung it at hulk, who punched it into the ground, roaring," hulk smash!" Before charging off to the direction of Steve, shield back in hand, and T'challa. Suddenly a car flew through the air at them, Steve crouched under his shield, but just in time Wanda sent it flying towards more creatures coming there way. Unfortunately vision got in his way. He turned his head and, quick as a flash, sent a laser straight through the car. The car, now split in two landed either side of him, squashing a number of creatures. Clint jumped on one side of the car, sending arrows hurtling through the air. Natasha jumped on the other side, swinging her legs round one and flipping it over, nocking it uncontious. Then they jumped off and shielded themselves as Thor brung his hammer to the ground, sending electricity through most the creatures left.

Suddenly Loki appeared out of nowhere, about the stab Clint, wanda screamed," look out!" Then hulk charged upon him, throwing Loki from side to side until he was knocked out completely. By this time the news was filming and they were being broadcasted all over the world. The city centre was ruined, billboards fallen, buildings and ground full of wholes, but as far as they new nobody died, and that's what counted.

As he stood there Steve realized nat wasn't there, and started panicking. Then he saw Natasha running towards him. She ran straight into his arms, hugging him around the neck so forcefully he nearly fell.
" Where were you?" He asked.
" Some of those things got loose, I killed them don't worry," Natasha said.
" I was more worried about you," Steve said concerned.
Natasha smiled that shy smile again. Only then did she notice how close the two of them were. She realized it was now or never.
" You know," she said.
" What?" Steve asked.
" Sharon was right."
And she pulled him in kissing him, as the avengers cheered and the cameras flashed. Steve could almost see the headlines.
