In TerraPrime City, in the middle of the night, Neos and Sub sat down on the Soul Translation Devices, waiting for Grimmus to give the word on when to lay back and link themselves to the digital world. As Grimmus finished typing away on the main computer, he stood straight up, turned to Neos and Sub still sitting on the machines, and began explaining how the entrance into the digital world would work to the brown and blue headed males.
Grimmus: Ok, once the two of you lay back, you're going to have those head rests on the devices latch themselves onto the sides of your head, with some very tiny earpieces attaching themselves to, well... your ears. Then, after I've made sure the two of you are locked in and ready to go, I'll start up the machines, and you'll be sent into the digital world.
Neos: Ok, but just out of curiosity, how do we go about deleting Herobrine from the system once we're in there?
Grimmus: I'm glad you asked, Neos. See, the digital world is much more vast than what we give it credit for. Every piece of technology is built off of some variation of code. Take a sign-in tab on a computer, for instance. To us, that sign-in tab doesn't look like anything too special, but by digital world standards, there's enough fragments of code in that one tab to build a skyscraper out of it. The terrifying part about stepping into the digital world for you guys will be the fact that Herobrine will be able to manipulate all of that code to better suit his needs; however, there's one thing he can't manipulate, no matter how badly he may want to. Resting somewhere in the digital world is a panel you'll be able to use to reboot the entirety of the system, which upon rebooting, will delete every trace of the Herobrine virus.
Sub: Like a type of factory reset.
Grimmus: Exactly! Now, with him having existed in the code for who knows how long now, it's probably safe to assume Herobrine knows about it and will do everything in his power to keep you from reaching it, so you'll need to be careful.
Neos: We will be Grimmus, don't worry.
Grimmus nodded with the slightest relief, expressing the faintest smile possible, before turning back to the computer.
Grimmus: Alright, you two are good to go.
Without a second thought, both males lifted their legs that were still dangling off the sides of the STDs and laid back onto the head rests, with Neos turning to Sub as he did for one final sliver of enthusiasm.
Neos: See you on the other side.
Sub turned to Neos after hearing the comment, responding with one of his own fragments of clearly anxious enthusiasm.
Sub: Yep. I'll see you when I see you.
The two men exchanged smiles before turning their heads back to facing the charcoal grey ceiling of the room, which would give the go ahead for the head rests to latch themselves onto the sides of both males' heads. Afterwards, the ear pieces would then be plugged into the ear canals of both Neos and Sub, and upon noticing this, Grimmus began prepping the jump into the digital world. After typing a bunch of commands into the computer, both STDs began to start up, leading to Neos and Sub beginning to lose their vision of the real world and slowly being introduced to sections of code flooding every point of their vision until eventually, they both blacked out. Although, after what seemed like mere milliseconds, the two simultaneously woke up next to each other, still laying on the machines they blacked out in. After sitting up, the two looked at each other for a moment to assure themselves that neither of them were dreaming, and then stood up from their metallic bedding to get a feel for the area around them.
Neos: So, this is the digital world?
Sub: Why does it look like Infinity Tower? I mean, we just left here. Hell, are we even sure this is the digital world?
As a form of proof, Sub walked up to one of the walls surrounding him and Neos, going on to tap his hand on it, which, to his surprise, resulted in thousands of numbers beginning to appear along the wall, as well as along every other wall surrounding them, the ceiling, the floor, and any objects that rested in the room. The two Elementals then made their way over to the open window wall, where glass panes would be in the real world, that revealed just how high up they were off the numerical ground. To their surprise, the entire digital world (as far as they could see) resembled that of TerraPrime City, which gave them a bit of hope that they may not be at a complete disadvantage after all.
Sub: Well, at least we know where we are.
Neos: Yeah, that is a good sign. Now, we've just gotta find that reset panel, and Herobrine's done for good.
Sub: I couldn't have said it better myself. Although, how do we get down from here? The digital world doesn't exactly have an in order elevator.
Neos: Hmmm...
Neos thought to himself for a brief moment before eventually coming up with what he viewed as an impossible to refuse idea.
Neos: Grimmus said that since Herobrine was apart of the code, he'd have more control over it than we would, right?
Sub: Well, yeah.
Neos: Even if he has more control, that doesn't mean that we have none, right?
Sub: I honestly don't even think I wanna know where you're getting at.
Neos: What I'm saying is if Herobrine can manipulate the digital world where the rules work in his favor, why can't we?
Sub: Neos, I'm not so sure that'll work out.
Neos: Come on, it's worth a try, and honestly, I'd rather try it here than whenever we come across Herobrine. Look, all we've gotta do is somehow will the code to allow us to just jump down to the ground and it feel like we're just jumping into a pile of feathers.
Sub: Heh... Alright, I guess. Let's try it.
After hyping themselves up for a few moments, the two Elementals began to imagine in their minds what it was that they wanted the code to do, and proceeded to jump out of the side of Infinity Tower, sending them into complete free fall. Although, the two managed to hit the ground in no time, and had absolutely no injuries to speak of as a result.
Neos: Wow. I won't even lie, I was only about sixty percent sure that would work.
Sub: Well, it did, as scary as it was, which is a good thing, because now we know that even we can manipulate the world a little bit.
Neos: Well, it's probably not doing us any good to just sit here twiddling our thumbs, so we should probably get going.
Sub: Agreed.
Both Neos and Sub, now in the coded streets of a virtual TerraPrime, continued on with their search for the panel Grimmus instructed them to look for. Meanwhile, on the VTOL that was still floating over the ocean, Steve, barely able to find the energy to stand, was attempting to punch his way out of the chamber he was locked inside of; however, the machine was draining too much of the Delta element's power for his punches to wield any themselves. After awhile, Steve dropped down to his knees in exhaustion, unable to find the strength to let out the lightest of punches anymore; all the while Herobrine, with his white eyes and black background still remaining on the computer screen of the VTOL, mocked the trapped leader of the Elementals with how far the transference process had already come along, going as far as to pull up the percentage bar on one of the tinier screens on the side of the main one, with the bar reading thirty-three percent.
Herobrine: Hehehehehe, the transference of the Delta element is already a third of the way complete. Accept it, Steven. You have no one that can help you. You are alone.
Steve: No... I.. have to.. keep.. going... I have to fight this.. what little I can...
Herobrine: There's no point in fighting it. In just a few moments, you'll be sucked dry of the Delta element, and that power will be mine to wield.
Just as Herobrine continued to mock Steve, his entire demeanor changed, as if something had happened that only he knew about. He then began to chuckle maniacally, revealing his new revelation to Steve.
Herobrine: Hehehe... Well, well, well... It would seem like your friends just aren't ready to give up on rescuing you. I guess I'll just have to show them what happens when you trespass on someone else's property.
