The date is May 7th, 2021. Over two years have passed since the Elementals' victory over Herobrine, as well as the destruction of Terra. In that time, the multiverse has grown to be in a lasting state of peace. No events have occurred since Herobrine's death to call for a reunion between the Elementals, which has resulted in the elemental powers carried by Steve, Neos, and Sub not even being used; however, even though they've not been used, the very knowledge that the three used said powers to help defeat Herobrine has made them a universal wide phenomenon. Although, even with the alteration of their once simple lives as fellow citizens to the now chaotic lives of being full-time celebrities, the biggest change in the last two years has been none other than the creation of TerraPrime City: a place designed for the people of the destroyed kingdom of Terra. The new and improved city became the gold standard for all things technology, surpassing even that of Universe Orion in revolutionary concepts. Whether it be electronically powered vehicles, ear chips that can be used to call people by simply speaking the contact's name, or digitally generated roadways that go through the sky, the gift of TerraPrime had everything you could ever dream of and more, but enough of the setting. It's time to dive into the city's antics, and who better to start with than the three individuals that we're more than familiar with. In one of the new colleges developed by Grimmus, Alpha Academy, Sub, who assists in running the entire place, with the same dark blue hair as before, as well as an out of character white button up dress shirt and black dress pants, is in the middle of a lecture.
Sub: Essentially, the concept of Dark Matter is one that we know little to none about. What we do know is that it sort of acts as the central form of matter, and we assume that a variation of it makes up about eighty-five percent of all matter in the multiverse, if not more.
As Sub pauses, he notices a student raise their hand in the back of the slowly rising seating arrangement.
Sub: Yes, David?
David: Professor Usoro, if Dark Matter is said to have made up so much of the matter in the multiverse, then how come all of that matter doesn't act in the way Herobrine's Dark Matter did?
Having been given the question, Sub paused once again, both being reminded of the events that took place two years ago, as well as trying to simply think of an answer.
Sub: As much as it pains me to admit, David, I'm afraid that I don't have a for sure answer to that question. What I can tell you is that the variant of Dark Matter that Herobrine wielded was one that fed off of the emotions being carried by the individual. In the case we're discussing, the Dark Matter fed off of Herobrine's anger and drive to wreak havoc on the multiverse. Sadly, though, that's the only explanation I can give.
Seeming a little unsatisfied, David nodded his head to Sub's response and allowed Sub to continue on with his lecture. Meanwhile, in the Department of Security building, which was in the form of a thirty-one story skyscraper, Neos, with his plain black uniform on, was busy scanning over the city to see if any crime was being detected, but as always, there was nothing coming up. The constantly repeated motion of scanning and clicking bored Neos to death, for he wanted an excuse to get into some action, but it seemed as though he wouldn't be getting his wish for quite sometime.
Neos: I can honestly say that when I was offered this job, I never thought it would be as painfully boring as it is. Well, at least it pays good, though. That's more than what a lot of people that work here can say. It is kind of shitty though to know that a big reason why I'm getting paid more than everyone is because I'm an Elemental.
As Neos finished his initial thought, he proceeded to glance down at the back of his left hand, which had engraved on it the red Omega symbol.
Neos: Who would've thought that an impossible to get rid of tattoo would be the reason I'm having an easy life.
Still bored to death, Neos pulled out his phone, and became incredibly thankful upon seeing that he had only twenty minutes left before he could leave.
Neos: Oh, thank god. Just a little longer, and then I'm outta here.
As Sub was teaching and Neos was scanning, Steve, with a dark purple t-shirt and black skintight pants, was busy having his blood drawn by Grimmus on the top floor of the center building of TerraPrime City: Infinity Tower: a building that stretched a grand total of seventy-six stories into the air, with a helicopter pad on top of the flat roof. After drawing a fifth vial of blood, Grimmus gently removed the needle from Steve's arm and proceeded to rest a bandage on the spot the needle was injected into, wrapping some medical tape around it to make sure the bandage wouldn't move from it's position. As Grimmus began to store the vials of blood, he decided to start a conversation.
Grimmus: I gotta say, Steve, I am loving your new haircut. Everything about it just screams new and improved. I mean, the fading sides and back; the spiked front; it looks awesome!
Steve: Hehe, thanks Grimmus. So, what data do we have from my blood? It's been a few months now that we've been doing this, so I'm just curious as to exactly how much we know.
Grimmus: Well, as unfortunate as it is, the Dark Matter in your system remains dormant, as we've been unable to trace any of it in your blood, so we can really only study so much, and obviously, I'm not gonna make you try to trigger it. Long story short, we haven't learned much of anything from it... I was hoping to figure out something before you asked about it...
Steve: Oh... Well, it's alright. Maybe one day we'll be able to figure something out.
Grimmus: Yeah, I guess you're right... Hey, before you go, do you mind if I ask you something?
Steve: Sure! What is it?
Grimmus: Well... How have you been doing?
