The newly reformed body of a once virtually bound Herobrine emerged from the chamber, his legs still a little shaky from having just been reformed. Wishing to confirm that his plan succeeded, he looked down at the back of his left hand for confirmation that his plan had worked, and to no surprise of his own, on the back of his hand rested a green Delta symbol. The sight forced a sly grin to appear on his face as he pointed his head up at the ceiling laughing maniacally.
Herobrine: Hahahahaha! It took awhile, but the deed is done. I may not have access to my original powers, but I have what I wanted: the Delta element.
Mod: What are your plans now that your body's been reformed, sir?
Herobrine: Well, the other Null robots are no longer under my control. You were the only one I could program to run on your own private network separate from the others, so you're the only member left of my army. With that being said, I no longer need that army with the Delta element.
Mod: What about Steve? He's nowhere to be found.
Herobrine: Eh, I don't need him anymore. Chances are with me no longer there to keep Grimmus' mouth shut, Steve will soon find out what's so special about his particular resurrection two years ago, but at this point, it doesn't really matter. He can go back to TerraPrime if he so desperately chooses, but all he'll really be doing is going back to die with his people.
Mod: One last question sir, if I may.
Herobrine: Man, I programmed you to be a killer, not a damn journalist. What is it?
Mod: What are you planning to do about the fact that they now have access to the Universal Gateway at Infinity Tower?
Herobrine: Oh, that? It won't do them any good now. Thanks to them resetting the system, that gateway has quite sometime to go before it'll be ready for use again. I'd say about two days or so, which means I have until then to finish them all off, and well... I won't need that much time.
Stepping out of the jet black coffin shaped chamber, Herobrine, his ripped physique and genitals still exposed due to the recent reformation, walked over to the side of the room the remains of the now destroyed super computer were and forced open the mysterious compartment that sat next to it. After opening up the tiny narrow compartment, he pulled out a small black box that almost seemed like a jewelry box. After getting his hands on it, he opened it up to reveal a bracelet almost identical to that of Ava's, but after removing it from the box and putting it on, the nanotechnology that covered his body, while still forming a suit to cover everything but his head, wasn't of the same style as Ava's. This suit was completely black outside of a dark lime green Delta symbol that rested on the left pec area of the suit. Feeling eager and motivated, Herobrine turned to his robotic servant with a devilish grin on his face.
Herobrine: So, Moderator... What do ya say we pay the Elementals a little visit?
Meanwhile, at TerraPrime City, Steve, Neos, and Sub all rested in Infinity Tower with Grimmus on his experimental floor. Using a capsule similar to what Herobrine had used to drain Steve's Delta element, Grimmus was able to gage how much Delta energy was still residing within Steve. Unfortunately, he would find out that no amount was there, and after Steve stepped out of the capsule, all Grimmus could do was deliver the bad news to Steve and the others.
Grimmus: Well unfortunately, it would seem as though the Delta element is no longer bonded with you. Somehow, it would appear that the draining had completed right as Herobrine was deleted, meaning that despite his deletion.. the Delta element is gone.
Steve looked down at the back of his now unmarked left hand as he sat down at a giant round table in the middle of the room with Neos and Sub; meanwhile, Grimmus continued typing away on his super computer that took up a large portion of the wall it sat against.
Steve: So that means Neos and Sub can't use their elements anymore?
Neos: No, actually, we can still use ours.
To confirm his statement, Neos lifted his hand from where it rested on the table and turned it over, proceeding to generate a small flame in the palm of his hand. After proving what he had said to be true, he turned his hand back over on the table, with the flame disappearing immediately.
Steve: So that means I'm useless...
Sub: Hey, you're not useless. You've still got a lot to give. The Delta element didn't make you who you were. You made the Delta element what it was.
Steve: Yeah? Well, that's not saying much seeing as how I couldn't do much with the Delta element. I mean, I could cause a blast of power that would use up most of my strength when I did. That was my limit. Hell, you guys don't even get tired when you use your powers. You bond with your elements great; meanwhile, the Delta element and I went back and forth like a damn married couple. As far as actually fighting goes, I have nothing left to provide.
Grimmus: Actually, that's not exactly true.
Steve and the others looked at Grimmus confused, as they couldn't begin to wonder what exactly he meant by his statement.
Steve: What do you mean, Grimmus?
Grimmus: Let me show you.
Grimmus typed away on his computer until an image came up on the screen of a slowly swirling DNA strand with shades of a purple-pink mixture splattered on different areas of it.
Neos: The heck is that?
Grimmus: That.. is Steve's DNA.
Steve: That's mine? What's wrong with it?
Grimmus: Nothing. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Your DNA seems to have went through some sort of evolution that allowed it to bond with the anti-matter taken in by your body two and a half years ago.
Steve: Wait, what?
Sub: Grimmus, are you sure that's what it is? I mean, how would the science even support that being possible?
Grimmus: That's just it, Sub. Science doesn't support it, but your elemental powers aren't bound by the limits of science, nor are they bound by the laws of the multiverse. They exist in a completely different category of their own. What seems to have happened here, is when the two of you used your elemental powers to revive Steve, the Delta element used the energy from Neos and Sub along with the anti-matter still active within your corpse to help repair your body.
Neos: Haha, ya hear that, Steve? You're a mutant Elemental.
Steve: So what all does this mean exactly, Grimmus? You said it's not true that I have nothing to provide to the team, so how does this help?
Grimmus: Well, while the anti-matter that's in your body now has been altered by the Delta element to be bonded with your DNA, the anti-matter's initial purpose is still being realized; only it's to a much more microscopic level. Essentially, the anti-matter has made you completely immune to disease; furthermore, I believe you can use the anti-matter yourself as a form of offense.
Steve: Wait, really?! So even without the Delta element, I can still be apart of the team?!
Grimmus: Precisely.
Steve: Yes!
Steve swung his arms up in the air in excitement, for he couldn't have been more relieved to know that he could still be of use to his team, and after feeling as though everything was perfectly fine, the trio of Steve, Neos, and Sub felt as though they could finally relax; however, on the outskirts of TerraPrime City, a now Delta wielding Herobrine, equipped with his new Delta branded nanotech suit, gazed over the lively city with Mod at his side.
Mod: What's the plan, sir?
Herobrine: What other plan would there be other than to destroy everything? It's time to finish this fight once and for all.
