Chapter 18

Another Flashback...

Dream POV

Dream sat resting his head under a tree. He closed the book in hand.

He stood up and began muttering a spell. "Vocare somnium est, vocare eam nunce placent!"

(This is Latin, and yes I used a translator. The translator is a bit weird with Latin, but it loosely translates into "summon a Dreamon, summon it now please)

Greeb electricity crackled in front of him, then puffed into nothing.

"Damn it." He muttered. "I was sure that one would work." Dream opened the book again and flipped through pages. He paused on a certain one. "Nightmare huh.." Dream read through the text about him. 

Sounds to me like this nightmare fellow is pretty powerful. With power, I can restore my powers!  He thought.

Dream flipped the page and quietly read from the book.

Summoning Nightmare:

So, you want to summon Nightmare? Bold choice. To start off, you will need Dreamons, as well as the ability to fully control your Dreamons. Once you have that mastered, you will need one human soul. This is the part where it gets tricky.

The soul must be blue, the rarest and most powerful colour. Blue souls are better to use than their yellow counterparts because the spiritual energy from a blue soul outweighs the spiritual energy from a yellow one by thousands.

Important note: if using a yellow soul, the spell will most likely fail.

In order to collect the blue soul, you need Dreamons. Assuming that if you are attempting this, you have no problem summoning them. The Dreamons will extract the soul after being given the command to do so. 

The only way to tell what colour a soul is, is after you extract it from the human. Once extracted, the soul cannot be returned, and the human will die. You may try and guess based off of personality, for example, if a person is soft spoken, timid, or a perfectionist, they most likely do NOT have a blue soul.

However if they are rambunctious, energetic, or thoughtful, there is a chance that they MAY have a blue soul. Some people have reported that having a blue soul gives you the ability of telekinesis. Though this is just a widespread rumour.

Be warned, once your Dreamon takes a soul, they cannot take another for the rest of the summoners lifetime.

Dream closed the book.

"So, looks like I only have one shot at this." Dream sighed and looked around at his failed attempts at Dreamons. "Maybe I need to work on this first." He muttered.

I AM SO SORRY FOR THE SHORT CHAPTER I WANTED TO MAKE THIS LONGER BUT I HAD NO MORE IDEAS PLEASE FORGIVE ME. Here's a word count for those of you interested.

Edit: I know nothing about souls or any of that sort this is purely fictional please don't get your hopes up about having a blue soul, they don't exist I made it up at 2am. Also don't try and summon FICTIONAL characters in this book it probably won't work.
