I woke up with the sun in my face. I got out of bed and walked into the kitchen and looked in the fridge raider and there was nothing. I sighed and hared a knock at the front door. I looked back at my parents door and no one came out. I slowly walked up to the door and said who is it.

''Water company'' I thought nothing was wrong so I open the door. But as soon as I open the door it was my worst nightmare has came true. It was Child protective services with NYPD. I was scared out of my mind, they came in without me saying come in. They searched the house for some reason. The police kicked in my parents door and was yelling to get out of the bed. They had put my mom and dad in the living room and read them their rights.

''YOU STUPID LITTLE BITCH! JUST WAIT, IMA COME FOR YOUR ASS! JUST WATCH BITCH!'' he yelled at me. I really didn't care because I wouldn't have to worry about him any more.

''Baby girl I'm so sorry I let these things happen to you! Just watch honey I going to come and get you and we can be a happy family again just watch!'' my mother yelled when she getting taken away. I just stood there not knowing what was going to happen next. Just then there was this lady came up to me and sat me down on to my bed. She had to be around her mid 30's. She had long black hair and you can tell that she was mixed with something.

''Hi mya my name is Jane and I was sent here to come to keep you safe ok'' I nod my head.

''Now ima need you to pack everything that you will need because the state is going to put you in a foster care home ok?" I just looked at her. I don't want to be taken away from here, call me crazy if you wan to but i don't wan to leave. I know what they do to kids up in them foster homes and I'm not trying to be that next kid. I was about to say I not leaving when a police man came to my room to make sure that I don't try anything. I grabbed my large suitcase and packed everything that I will need like my clothes, underwear, bras, socks, the whole nine. I had ask if I could take a shower and do a change of clothes and she said it was ok. I got in the shower and wash myself up and put on my Rihanna lotion on and got out my light blue high wasted jeans and my red bad bitch crop top that showed my belly ring and my black flats.

As soon as I finish getting dress I ran to my closet and bend down tot he whole in the wall that my dad pushed me in and grabbed a small jar of money that I've saving up over the years. I had put that in a bag where all my shoes were and pu that in my suit case. After i checked my room for anything I might have for gotten, I rolled out my suit case and paced it with my bag out shoes that where in the front. Jane walked out of my house first then it was me then the police who carried all my my stuff down to the car. There was so many people outside and as so as they heard the door slam shut, every eye was on me. I walked to car and shut the door while the police put my things in the trunk of the car and Jane got in the front. I looked back and saw where I used to call home.

''Hey si'mya the foster home that you are going to is Sun Shine Hill'' I just stayed quite.

''Come on si'mya you have to say something at least....'' I just looked at her in the rear view mirror.

I looked out the window and watch as the everything goes pass when the car came to a completely stop. We only been in the car for about 25mins and we just came to a stop. I got out of the car and went to the back to get my stuff. I walked up the stairs with Jane while she knocked on the door, then some lady that looked like in her 50's or 40's came to the door. She had short curly hair and she wore a t-shirt and some blue jeans. She looked like she was just cooking something cause it sure do smell good in here.

''Why hello! My name is Ms.K, and who might you be?" she asked me as she stuck out her hand, I shook it and said my name. I walked in the house and it was really actually nice. There was 2 dinning rooms and one part of the house, a big ass living room and kitchen. Upstairs there was about 10 rooms in the whole house she showed me where everyone slept and the bathrooms were and stuff luck me I got the last room where I don't have to share with anyone; and plus there was a bathroom in there to. Ms.k told me to settle down and unpack while she talked to Jane.

I put all my clothes away and my shoes and my stuff that need to go int he bathroom too. I climbed up the chair that was in there and put my money and other things that were important to me in the corner of the shelf in my closet. I got back down and stared putting my suit case and bag in the closet too. I looked around my room and saw there was a flat screen in here and nice bed set and dresser to. The walls were white and the whole colors in my room was light aqua blue, white and turquoise purple. I liked it.

Ms.k knocked on my already open door and walked in she asked if I like the room and I said yea. She told me that the other kids will be here soon so I had to go down stairs and get ready to see them. I took a deep breath and walked out the door behind her, I had this wired feeling in my stomach hope nothing will go wrong.
