Hi everyone! So these are just a few interesting facts about our characters from both Forestclan and Lakeclan before we begin our most gory chapters so making it a little fun before we begin!
If anyone wants to ask any questions about any characters I'll be answering them here!

- Leopardwillow's name comes from my favorite animal which is an African leopard and her suffix comes from the name of a black cat in my very first novel (not published) which is Willow.
- I originally wanted Smokedusk(paw) to be the main villain but thought better of it because it didn't make sense to make an apprentice evil for no reason hence why Flamestar is the main antagonist
- Smokestorm went to the Dark Forest because he's a horrible cat and because I wanted to have most of the Lakeclan cats there mainly for convenience
- I planned for Daykit and Nightkit to die from the very start being in a large litter didn't give them enough chance for survival and if my sequel does come out eventually Sliverkit and Rustkit will be two of the main characters
- Foreststar and Lakestar were brothers who lived in a rogue area with the rest of their rogue 'clan' before starting Forestclan and Lakeclan
- Meadowlark originally wasn't planned to die I wanted her to be alive but it just happened that way
- Shadowpaw had a crush on Smokedusk from the start and still doesn't believe he ever was evil
- Foxbristle's name comes from my sister's favorite animal which is a fox and her suffix comes from the fox from Pax; his mate which is Bristle. Hence why her kit's name is Sliverkit from the book
- In Faded Memories Featherclaw's Death I added Lightningstrike when he was an apprentice getting hurt by Sprucestar just to show Lilypad's decision in a mate was a poor one
- I originally didn't name Lakeclan, Lakeclan at first but I didn't like the sound of Streamclan and Riverclan was already taken XD
- Flamestar is in fact insane, she became insane the minute Smokestorm died and that's why she wanted to kill her kit and why she was scared to actually raid Forestclan until Bearstar died
- Crowpaw died at the paws of Poisonstar and Wolfhowl was never really trustworthy of anyone else after that
- Snakestrike and Dandelioncloud are actually Silverlake's kits along with deceased Mothkit who died because of a respiratory infection
- In Forestclan it has always been a tradition to name new warriors or new kits after fallen warriors as a sign of respect even if the young warriors or kits never met them (Ex: Shadowlark was named after Meadowlark even though she didn't know her very well)
- In Lakeclan most leaders ever since the death of Lakestar and his poor decision of making Salmontusk his deputy, new Lakeclan leaders get their lives from The Dark Forest cats or The Place of No Stars cats
- The prequel (The Heart of the Forest) and the sequel (A Panther's Shadow) will be written only if anyone wants me to!
- 'The Heart of the Forest' will explain more in depth who Salmontusk is so don't ask me who that is because I won't answer ;)

- Sliverkit's warrior name ends up being Slivermoon
- Rustkit's warrior name was decided as Rusttail
- Leopardwillow and Timberstar have three kits two toms and one she-cat (Appear in Chapter 11 and 12)
- Sprucekit's warrior name is Sprucefeather in honor of Timberstar's parents Featherclaw and Sprucestar
- Wolfkit's warrior name is Wolfstorm his prefix is in honor of Wolfhowl
- Pantherkit's warrior name is Panthershadow
- Leopardwillow is indeed a descendant of both Cherryblossom and Foreststar, her mother Meadowlark is Star's sister
- I planned on making Leopardwillow kill Flamestar but my sister asked me a question that made me reconsider my decision she asked "Why didn't Bearstar just kill Smokedusk(paw)?" and I realized I wanted Smokedusk to kill Flamestar as a valid reason of why he didn't die
- Fallenbranch and Leopardwillow don't really get along because Fallenbranch hardly ever speaks and he doesn't say things Leopardwillow appreciates all the time plus she never really liked him as an apprentice
- Suntail and Sprucestar are siblings their mother is Skystorm who is an elder
