Chapter 23

Izuku's POV

"Thank you for watching her, I owe you one."

"It's no problem Midoriya," Shinso replied with a sleeping Izumi in his arms. (A/N We're going to call him Shinso for now so there isn't any confusion when calling him Aizawa)

"I'll be back in a few to pick her up," I said, waving before getting in the car.

Katsuki and I were on our way to the hospital to see our friends.

Izumi thinks of the hospital as a place where people go away and never come back, that's what she thought after Dad died, so it wouldn't be a good idea to take her along with us.

We walked through the doors and went to the lady at the front desk asking for Tanaka Nakamura. I wanted to see her first since she risked her life to save my sister's.

We stepped into the elevator, waiting for it to beep at the 3rd floor, before walking out and looking for room 103.

"Dammit, why is it so hard to find one measly hospital room," Katsuki complained, I rolled my eyes.

"Calm down, we're almost there." I said.

"Tch."

We finally reached the room and slowly opened the door, revealing Todoroki and Nakamura holding each other in a tight embrace. l

Nakamura was wearing a light brown hospital gown, she had a bandage wrapped around her head and an IV in her arm.

"I told you I was fine," We hear her say quietly.

"You almost didn't make it." He replied, his voice cracking slightly.

"Nakamura," I said softly entering the room.

The two turned their head to us, a soft smile landed on her lips. I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her.

"Thank you, so much." I said, tears filling the brim of my eyes.

"I'm a Hero, it's my job." She chuckled lightly hugging me back.

"Oi," I wipe my face before turning my attention to the blonde who stood farthest away from us with his arms crossed.

"Bakugo,"

"What's your Quirk anyway? How did you know that was going to happen." He narrowed his eyes stalking towards the bed.

"Precognition," She started. "It allows me to see up to a minute into the future, at first it started with six seconds, but I've trained myself hard. It comes randomly, usually before a disaster, my eyes glow yellow when it's in act." She explained briefly, would she let me write this down?

Katsuki nodded.

"I'm glad I trusted you," He mumbled.

"Me too," She smiled, the blonde faced away and scoffed. Awe, what a softy.

"When are you getting discharged?" I asked.

"Tomorrow morning, the doctors said I had a fast recovery."

"We should go check on the others," I nodded.

After saying our goodbyes we went to see the rest of our classmates.

Uraraka was doing fine and will be out in a day or so, Iida's fever lowered so he'll be discharged when it's gone completely, they had to cool down Tsu so they put her in hibernation for the time being, Mina was going to get discharged later, she also had a quick recovery.
