Izuku's POV

It's been two months since Izumi and I ran away.

Two months since Ma passed away.

Two months since I broke my promise.

After that day I swore to myself, Dad, Ma, and Izumi that I'll never break the only promise Dad left for me before he died.

I swore that I'll always protect my baby sister and keep her away from all harm.

Always.

I was wearing a black hoodie, black joggers, sneakers, and disposable mask with my hood up walking down the busy sidewalk of Tokyo Japan as sirens wailed down the busy streets. I was on my way to the market to buy groceries for dinner tonight, and more.

A piece of paper that was poorly taped onto a store window flew in front of me into a puddle down beside me. Curiosity took over me as I paused to pick it up. A blank look set on my face.

Missing

Izuku Midoriya

Age: 17

If seen or found call the police immediately.

A picture of me from my second year of high school was in the middle of it. I was smiling big as if my life depended on it. He looks happy. I scowl and crumble the paper up throwing it away in a nearby bin.

I really have to put an end to this.

I don't want anybody looking for us anymore. If I have to find a way to make fake bodies, I will. I'll go as far as that to keep my sister safe.

I walked in the market and got what I needed.

As soon as I got home I went to check on Izumi. She was sitting on the floor in her room playing with her toys. Upon seeing me, she got up and ran to give me a hug.

"Zuzu you're finally back!" She exclaimed, I hugged her back patting her head.

"I'll always come back Zumi," I told her, she giggled taking my hand.

"What are we doing now?" She asked, I know she's bored. She hasn't left this house in a month, she's been too afraid too.

"Come on, I need to write a letter to Katsuki," I told her, I nodded jumping up and down. I led her to my room.

I sat down at my desk and lifted her to sit on my nap. And so I began writing. Izumi watched as I did, and no, she doesn't know how to read. Although, I'm working on teaching her.

Once I finished writing I put the pen down and cracked my fingers with a sigh.

I proofread over the paper to make sure I didn't leave anything out.

Dear Kacchan

I know it's been a month since we left and I know you're worried and still looking us. But please stop. Stop with the posters and stop agonizing everyone. The reason why nobody can find us is before we don't want to be found. I want you to move on, be happy without us. I'm doing this to not only keep us safe, but all of our friends and family safe. We are doing well, I promise. Izumi misses you guys all so much and is currently sitting here while i'm writing this.
