You weren't expecting the odd situation you were seeing when you decided to come early into the cafeteria.
"What are you talking 'bout bro?" Mondo laughed, his arm around Taka's shoulders.
"No, what are you talking about, bro!?" The boy responded, a smile on his face.
Beside you, Makoto stared at them with a deadpanned expression, making you look between them with a confused stare.
"What is happening.." you mumbled, watching as Mondo and Taka sprung into conversation with Makoto and Aoi.
Sakura came up beside you, looking equally confused.
"Friendship between men seems very.. simplistic," Sakura commented, a look of distaste on her face. "Nothing like what I'm used to with girls."
"I agree," you interjected, shaking your head. "This is beyond weird for me."
"Yeah, for real.." Aoi added, stepping away from the conversation with Mondo and Taka.
The entire breakfast was just awkward silence followed by Mondo and Taka's newfound friendship and a few comments made by various students.
Either way, it was incredibly awkward.
You weren't exactly sure what caused this surprise brotherhood. Mondo and Taka seemed like complete opposites. Using your ultimate, you did find out that both boys were incredibly prideful.
That's what it must be. A friendship built on pride and trust. Letting out a hum of approval, you dug into your food.
After breakfast, you meant to go back to your room, but you noticed something odd before you could.
