Although Madeline had sworn off of karate since Silver sent her grandfather away, he still forced her to spar with him. Wouldn't let her do certain things or wouldn't let her leave until she sparred with him. Today, she was headed to visit her grandfather when Silver decided she couldn't leave unless they fought. "Madeline, my dojo." "Can't. Going to visit grandpa Kreese." She continues to grab her jacket and starts to walk toward the door. "Nope." He snatches it out of her hands, dropping it onto her bed and grabbing her wrist. "I'm done with karate, Silver." She snaps.

"You'll be done when I say you're done." He snaps in return. She tears herself away. "You wanna fight so bad, let's fight." She snarls, storming past him to his personal dojo. As soon as he steps in, she tackles him to the floor, using his weight against him. He catches her hand when she throws a punch but she quickly straddles him, throwing punch after punch. He flips them, pinning her wrists to the floor, and glaring at her. "That's enough." He hisses. She broke his nose, it's crooked and quickly bruising. "You took him away from me." She thrashes beneath him, tears flood her eyes.

"I'm sorry." He says, sighing. "I can't believe you." She whispers, tears dropping past her lashes as she turns her head away from him. "Madeline, look at me." He demands softly. "Look at me." He whispers, carefully letting one wrist go so he can turn her head to face him. She shoves his hand away, glaring up at him. "You're impossible, Silver. One minute you're loving and sweet, and I love being around you no matter how much I hate you. And other times, we're at each other's throats, and I'm breaking your nose." She shoves him, sitting up. "I deserved it this time." He says.

"You definitely deserved it." She chuckles lightly. "I did indeed." He mumbles, sitting beside her. She leans against him, sighing. "I'm sorry I broke your nose." She whispers, looking up at him. He faces her. "Wanna help me fix it?" He asks. "It's gonna hurt but I can help." She nods, standing and reaching a hand out to him. "Let's go to the bathroom so I can fix it." He takes her hand, standing and following her to the bathroom. She sits him on the closed toilet, standing between his legs. "This is gonna hurt." She whispers, snapping it back into position. He hisses, spewing profanities.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry." She says quickly. His hands slither up her thighs to her hips. "Watch your hands." She warns. "Sorry, doll." She wets a rag, wiping dried blood from under his nose, watching him wince. "This is karma." She says with a small smirk. "Karma?" He laughs, looking up at her. "Karma." She reiterates. He laughs again, shaking his head as she sets her hands on his shoulders. She stands there and stares at him for a moment before clearing her throat and stepping back. "So, you're all fixed." She says, removing her hands and walking out. "Madeline." He calls, standing. She sighs.

She turns around and faces him. "I'm sorry, ya know. I didn't realize how much of a rift that would cause." "You knew how much he meant to me, Silver." He sighs, stepping toward her, she steps back. "Don't. I don't wanna be near you right now. You made me miss my opening to see grandpa Kreese." She snaps, glaring at him. "I'm sorry, doll." He shakes his head, walking away. She sighs, walking to her room and sinking to the floor, her back against the door. She didn't mean to break his nose but she doesn't regret it at all. She believes he deserved every bit of it. She curls into a ball, lying down.

A little while later, there's a knock on her door. She hasn't fallen asleep, she's just been lying on the floor in a ball, staring at the empty walls around her. "Yeah?" Her voice calls out. "Dinner." Silver says from the other side. She stands, opening the door. "Terry." She says before he walks away. "I'm trying. I promise. I know it might not seem like it, but I am." She states, looking down at her feet. In one quick stride, he's in front of her, lifting her chin. "I know." Her eyes land on his bruised nose before flicking to his lips. The lips that move perfectly with hers every time they attach.

His eyes move down to her lips before back up, silently asking permission. She nods, melting when his lips meet hers. His hands drop to her hips, pulling her in closer as her arms wrap around his neck. He pushes her against the wall behind her, fingers worming underneath her shirt, hers tangling in the hair that's rarely worn down. He had been nervously combing his fingers through it for a good minute before knocking on her door. She pulls back for air but he quickly leans back in, immediately missing the way she felt on him. She can hear her heartbeat in her ears, it's overwhelming.

She enjoys the overstimulation of it all. His scent surrounds her, locking her in. His fingers dig into her skin like he's afraid she may disappear if he lets go. Every second feels like an eternity until she pulls away. He slowly lifts his head to look down at her. "Are you still mad?" He asks quietly. "How could I be mad after that?" She asks with a short laugh. Silver chuckles, shaking his head and carefully removing his hands before fixing her shirt. "Dinner's probably cold." She says softly, not knowing what to do now. He chuckles again. "Well, come then, darling. Let's go eat."

She takes his outstretched hand. At the table, instead of him sitting at the head, he sits in a chair beside Madeline, their arms brushing every time they moved. After dinner, Silver stood. "I say we go get ice cream." He says, setting his napkin down. "Really?" Madeline's eyes light as she looks up at him. "Really. Let's go." He reaches a hand out to her, smiling. She takes it, standing. Both of her hands hold one of his, walking out behind him. He leads her to his car before opening the passenger door for her. "Hop in, doll." He kisses her forehead before she climbs in. She smiles, turning red.

It's simple contact, not forced or angry. Silver smiles when he sees her red face as he climbs in as well. She turns and looks at him, his wolfish grin replaced with a genuine one. After getting their ice cream, they're walking hand in hand down the sidewalk. A man walking past stares at Madeline for a moment, his eyes trailing her body. Silver glares at him, removing his hand from Madeline's before wrapping his arm tightly around her waist. "Jealous much?" Madeline giggles, looking up at Silver. He scowls, kissing her aggressively. She melts under his touch, sighing into it.

"You belong to me, Madeline. Remember that." "Who said-" He cuts her off, grabbing her jaw roughly. "Yessir." She quickly squeaks out. He smirks, nodding. "That's what I thought." He says. She goes red, looking down. "Let's get home, doll." She nods, walking with him as he keeps his arm tight around her waist. At home, she goes to her room, lying in bed. A little while later, Silver knocks softly, walking in. "Hey, doll, you doing okay?" She hadn't been down since she get home. "Just tired." She answers, keeping her back to him. He nods, starting to walk away when she turns, grabbing him.

"Lie with me." She says softly. He softens, knowing it's the hardest for her at night. He carefully crawls in bed behind her, wrapping his arm around her waist. She turns, curling into him, her hands fisting in his shirt like she's afraid he might disappear. "Goodnight, Terry." He loves it when she uses his name, loves the way it slides off her tongue. "Goodnight, Madeline." He kisses her forehead, sighing as her hands slowly relax and she falls asleep. He almost regrets sending Kreese away, but then moments like this happen, moments where she needs him and he couldn't be happier with it.
