The next few days, Madeline and Terry got on pretty well. Rarely ever arguing. And when they did... we all know how it ended. Today, Terry decided he wanted her to go with him to pick someone up. "Madeline." Terry calls up the stairs, waiting for their door to open. "Yeah?" "We're gonna go meet someone. Okay? I need you to get dressed. There's an outfit laid out on my bed." She huffs slightly. "I don't want to." Terry slowly walks toward her, sighing. He stands on the step below hers, taking her chin in his hand. "We've gotta make a good first impression. I can't have someone not knowing my girl." He taps under her chin with a soft smile. Her lips quirk at the corners and she nods.

"Go get dressed, doll." He kisses her forehead. "Yessir." She goes to turn away when he pulls her to face him again. "Do you want me to do your hair once you're dressed?" He asks. Her face lights up and she grins, nodding. "Please." Once dressed, Terry has her sit at the table. He stands behind her, carefully brushing out tangles. She closes her eyes contently, sighing when he kisses her head. "You alright, babydoll?" He asks. Her eyes well up with tears as she opens them. "Yeah." Her voice cracks. He sets the brush down, pulling her chair out and leaning on the table in front of her. "You can talk to me."

His voice assures her sweetly. "I missed you, Terry." She says tearfully. He squats down to her height, sighing. "You shouldn't have pushed me like that." "I was losing you, Terry! You go completely psychotic when it comes to the LaRusso family. You were using me for your own pleasure and dropping me when you didn't want me anymore." She throws her hands up before shoving him away, standing. His head is level with her stomach now. It's only then does he realize what he's done to the girl. The shirt that fit her two months ago now hangs off her body, her collarbones sticking out. He slowly stands, looking down at her. "What have I done to you?" The bruise from over a week ago still sticks out, like purple and yellow watercolor.

"What are you talking about?" Her voice quivers, her hands shake at her sides. She curls them into fists in hopes to stop it. "You look sick and I haven't even noticed. How long has it been since you've eaten? Since you've been outside? How long has this been going on and what can I do to help you?" She shrugs, looking down. "Not that long." "Madeline." He presses, wanting to know. "Terry, I'm fine. You worry too much." She waves him off dismissively. "Madeline Elizabeth." He presses further. "Just... like..." She shrugs again. "A few days." She says softly. He immediately wraps his arms around her, holding her tightly to his body. He sighs. How hadn't he noticed this?

"Mr. Silver, your limo." A maid says, quickly scurrying away when Terry looks at them. "We're talking about this when we get home." He says, stepping away from Madeline and taking her hand. At a private airport, Terry steps out of the limo, holding a hand out to Madeline. She carefully climbs out, looking around at everyone to watch an Asian woman walk off the plane, head held high. Terry meets her at the bottom of the stairs, his arm around Madeline's waist. "Sensei Kim Da-Eun." He takes his arm from Madeline, bowing. She quickly follows suit. Kim Da-Eun bows to them. "Welcome to the Valley. How was your flight?" Terry asks her.

Madeline shivers. "Last minute." Da-Eun answers. "Is Sensei Kreese not with you?" She asks. "I'm afraid John Kreese is no longer with Cobra Kai. He had some legal troubles." Terry answers, an almost smug look on his face. "That is disappointing to hear. You asked me to bring the best senseis my dojang had to offer. I have done so." Da-Eun says proudly. "You must be exhausted from your trip. Please. There are refreshments in the limo." Terry says. Da-Eun turns, nodding at the people surrounding her. "Limousines and private planes. This sort of extravagance might impress your former shareholders, but it does not hold sway for me."

Terry takes his sunglasses off, stepping forward. "That attitude is exactly why I wanted you to teach at my dojos. I need to see which of my students are ready to take the next step. I'm offering you full autonomy to test my students your way. Just one of the many perks you'll have as my business partner in Cobra Kai." He says. "Your offer is very tempting, but I did not get on the plane for money." Da-Eun says, glancing at Madeline as she shivers. "Fifty percent is just a number. What I'm offering you is legacy. Your grandfather didn't teach American soldiers the Way of the Fist just to use on the battlefield. We have to share his style with the world."
