Fall Again

Plant the seed
In my mind.
Fulfill my need
At any time.

Green eyes
But blue in the face.
You give lies
Hoping the pain will erase.

Your shoulders lean forward
From carrying all the weight.
Walk calmly toward
As the hour nears, you wait.

Your eyes flutter
Looking for an escape.
Your heart murmurs
The plans you fear to make.

Tell me the story,
Of the day you fell in love.
Tell me how you had no worry,
No other feeling could rise above.

Then tell me how in an instance,
You seemed to have lost it all.
All the signs showed but you missed it,
How you watched your future fall.

How could this be the way
That it would all come to its end.
What was the reason to not stay,
How will your mind make amends.

And as you stash away
All these thoughts in your head.
The words you wish you could say
Hang onto you like pounds of lead.

I hope you think of me
When you find your feet hanging off the ledge.
These words I hope you would believe
How I would talk you off the edge.

In the end would I be enough
To take away the daggers you have prepared.
With blades so rough
Can I be the reason you are spared?

I wish to help you forget
With a touch so soft.
There was a purpose for how we met
Something that cannot be bought.

Open your mind
To believe in my truth.
Let your eyes go blind
Let us not waste our youth.
