The moment we got to Level 2, what looked like a ball with hands coming out of it rushed at us. Jay reacted fast, spraying the pyroil on it, catching it on fire. It let out an inhuman screech and ran away. "That was a Clump. They're pretty frequent on this level." Kash remarked. "Great. More stuff to worry about." Jay mumbled.
I was able to examine the level a bit further, and saw pipes of various sizes lining the walls of the level, which seemed to be mostly hallways. In the pipes, there was a dark, slimy liquid oozing out of them, which I decided not to touch in case it was dangerous.
Most of the level was avoiding entities and exploring when I realised I was sweating like crazy. When I asked Kash, she sinply replied, "Yeah, this level can get pretty hot. Just make sure to drink water, both almond and normal."
Throughout the level, Kash educated us on the different entities that reside in this level, and the Eyes Of Argos, a group of people who work for an entity known as Argos to punish people who have sinned or did anything bad that they have not made up for.
Then, someone shouted for help. It resonated through the halls and me and Jay quickly rushed to help them, but Kash wasn't as eager. "Remember," she warned. "There are Skin-stealers in this level, and they can mimic the voices of people they killed." So, we approached with caution.
Kash was right.
As soon as we got to the source of the noise, a man who was bloody and battered rushed towards us, not saying a word. I immediately saw this as a red flag since no one who was that badly beaten up would still have the energy to run.
"JAY! FIRE!" I shouted. Jay fired the liquid on the man, and he ran away, screaming, "Help me! Help me!" Further along the way, we discovered the skinless body of a man, and we were convinced that the man just now was a Skin-stealer.
At this moment, the thing actually came back, and it wasn't alone. It had put out its fires, but most of its skin was charred beyond repair. What was worse, it had a few of its friends along and we decided to get out of there. Most of the doors were locked, so the first door that we found was unlocked, we jumped in.
THE GATE IS OPEN.
WE WILL HAVE ORDER ONCE MORE.
