We just finished our last subject and decided to walk around the campus. "Why are you still wearing that?" tanong ni Aria, tinutukoy ang bracelet na binigay ni Midnight. It's been 3 days since that night. Tatlong araw na rin kaming hindi nag-uusap. I felt kinda hurt because of what he said. Dapat hindi ako nag-expect.

"Uh" I fixed the bracelet and stared at it for a while. "Wala lang. I kinda liked it."

Gale scoffed while shaking her head. "Bakit ka tatanggap ng kahit anong galing dun sa hayop na yun?"

I bit my lip and looked at her. "He's not that bad, Gale. Bakit ba galit ka sa kanya?" I still don't understand what they have against him. Sinabi nila dito rin nag-aaral si Midnight, but I rarely see him.

"Hey." just the right person. I was shocked to see him here. Kasama niya ang mga kaibigan niya. He was wearing a black shirt and black jeans, the usual. "Can we-can talk?" he slowly asked.

Tiningnan ako ng mga kaibigan ko. They had a 'are you serious look' on their faces. I nodded, signaling that I'll be okay, Naglakad ako papunta sa upuan at sumunod naman si Midnight. "Bakit di ka nag-reply sa akin?"

I arched my eyebrow in slight shock. Hindi ko alam ang sasabihin ko. "Okay uh? You made it clear that we weren't friends.... and nakukulitan ka sa kin so.." mahina kong sabi habang pinagmamasdan ang sapatos ko. I looked at his shoes. He was wearing a pair of black Dr. Martens, bagay sa suot niya.

I remembered his message. He was asking if I expected something from him, and I really did.

I looked over to see him frowning. "You can't ignore me like that." I really don't understand this guy. I bit the inside of my cheek. "You're really mean, Midnight," sambit ko at tumayo, dala ang bag ko.

"Don't ignore me again Alya. I don't like it." he hardly said, avoiding my gaze, I sighed and shook my head. "Then stop being mean."
