AUTHOR'S POV
"Ahhh—" Chaeyoung screamed but was soon stopped when a hand gently covered her mouth, pulling her to the side. She let out a breath of relief as she met his deep hazel brown orbs.
"I can't believe I'm sneaking out of my own mansion right now" Jimin muttered, slightly chuckling from his remark. They were currently at the garage because that was what Chaeyoung wanted.
Jimin asked her to accompany him since she's the so called 'personal maid' so Chaeyoung had to come. However, she didn't want to be seen with him while leàving the house. After what the other maid had told her yesterday that she's being favored and all that made her wary of her surroundings.
"I'm sorry...I don't want to give my co-workers the wrong idea"
"What kind of wrong idea?" She took a deep breath when Jimin leaned in, obviously having fun from teasing her. "T-That—"
"I'm just kidding" he teased more which made Chaeyoung blush even more.
'My heart is beating so fast!!' She mentally thought as she look at Jimin who was just carefully eyeing her. "I-Is something wrong? Did I overdress? Nayeon told me to wear this since you said I should wear something casual" she e explained as she took a gaze at her dress. It was a white off shoulder dress that reached just above her knee which hugged her body and curve perfectly.
"D-Does it not look good on me?" Was her last shot. Knowing that Nayeon gave it to her, she thought about how disappointed would Nayeon be if it did not fit her at all.
'If it does not look good, I'll seriously run back to our room and change into a pair of jeans and a t shirt!'
"Is that even a question? Of course it does! Everything looks perfect when you're wearing them, trust me. Let's go" he replied with a smile before opening the car door for her. She wouldn't deny the fact that even though his lines were cringey it made her heart pound.
Her eyes grew wide when the guy who assisted to open the gate was the guard whom she used to bring lunch and have a chat with. She treated him like her father and she's not supposed to be seen inside Jimin's car.
She hung her head low, making sure that her hair is covering her face completely. "Do you know Mr. Oh?" She nodded as an answer making Jimin smirk, acknowledging the naughty idea that popped up on his mind.
"Why are you pulling up—no don't" she had no choice but to cover her face with the small bag she carried as soon as Jimin stopped the car in front of the security guard and even slid down his window.
"Good morning Mr. Oh!" He greeted with a smile, making the latter come closer to greet him as well.
"Good morning young master" Jimin couldn't help but to smile more when she felt Chaeyoung's hand, poking his waist, grabbing his clothes gently and covering her face at the same time.
"Your girlfriend must be shy. You should get going"
"Indeed. Make sure that you won't let a single person enter the mansion. I am not expecting any guests" was his last instruction before finally maneuvering his wheels out of the mansion. Chaeyoung huffed before clasping her chest, almost glaring at Jimin.
"Did you just glare for a second? Let me see it again"
"No" she answered in a monotone voice making Jimin chuckle once again.
She took out her phone when it rung.
[Hello? Mrs. Park? Is something wrong?]
[Aigooo Rosie!! I know you're at work right now but my daughter in law had an emergency! I can't watch over Hee-joon until tonight. I can't just entrust him with anybody!]
