┏°⌜ 037: Shiganshina

"Ah look y/n, you can see the walls, that means we're almost there!"
Louise sounded exhausted but happy at the same time because the destination was nearby.

Everyone was on their way back to Shiganshina at the moment. This time you were on a horse with Louise.
While riding, Eren talked to Hanji about your world and some formalities and you didn't want to disturb them. And besides, after what happened, you didn't really want to talk to Eren at this moment.

'You're jealous because I got closer to your girl.'

Your girl. YOUR GIRL. And Eren said 'that's true'!
What makes you so confused about it is how relaxed and casually he said it. Or maybe it didn't mean anything and he just said it to end the situation with Jean? Maybe you think about it too much, but Eren didn't even say anything against 'your girl'. It's so strange, but no matter how confusing it may be, at the same time it kind of gave you butterflies in your stomach.

You also had to think about how the others will now think of you. Surely they'll think you're a couple or something. Is it a bad thing? You had no idea, but it would be the right thing to do to make it clear as soon as possible that you are just friends, at least in your opinion.

...Wait what?As soon as you thought about it you felt ridiculous, what the hell are you thinking? Of course you two are just friends! Of course Eren just said that to silence Jean and end the discussion! Did you seriously consider that Eren might mean it? God, stop acting like a main character.

Luckily Louise didn't talk about it right now, she saw your reaction and knew that you don't really want to talk about it right now.

She also distracted you a bit as she talked about her childhood and her time with the Jaegerists. You turned your head around and could see that the storm clouds came closer and closer. Sometimes you could even see lightning from the clouds from afar, it was kinda satisfying.

After some time you finally arrived at this castle-like building in the middle of Shiganshina, the current Jaegerists-headquarter.

Everyone was in the stable to feed their horse. You actually wanted to help Louise, but then someone came up to you.

"Greetings! Are you y/n?"
It was Onyankopon, one of the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers. He was one of the Marleyan soldiers on board the first survey fleet to Paradis after Marley's failed Operation to attack the Island.

"Yeah, that's me!"
You smiled

"Ah great. My name is Onyankopon! Eren asked me to show you around as you will live here for a while now."

"Oh that would be very nice!"
He's right. You will stay here for a while and you didn't know your way around here at all.

You looked at Louise, but before you could say anything, she spoke
"It's fine, see ya later y/n!"

You nodded, then turned back to Onyankopon
"Alright, I am ready!"

After walking around the entire site for over an hour, it was now evening and the thunderstorm was over Shiganshina.
As it was getting dark Onyankopon had a lantern in his hand and he gave you one too.

Luckily he has already shown you everything outside like the stable, the training ground and the recreation area so you didn't have to stand outside in the rain.
