"You're putting them in the wrong place again!" Robin shouted at Steve for the 100th time today. The placement of movies were completely wrong and majority of them wasn't in their right genres. Steve was out of it today, but that didn't mean Robin was going to take it easy on him.
"We always put our movies in alphabetical order Steve." Robin said exhaustingly as she looked through each movie. "And what's this?" Robin picked a movie from the shelves with disgust all over her face.
"Why is an adult film in the sci-fi section?" Robin continued the conversation about the terrible arrangements of the movies that Steve had done previously. He was starting to get a headache from her complaining. Maybe coming to work wasn't the best place to clear his mind.
"Ugh I should've done it myself." Robin huffed, she walked over to the "adult film" section and put the movie back in it's correct spot.
"It's just one movie, no one would've noticed anyways." Steve dismissed the topic at hand. Robin didn't expect anything different from him. She was always the one who worrying about everything while he just did anything with ease.
"Well if a grandpa wanted to watch a good sci-fi movie and found boobs on the cover I think that would be pretty noticeable Steve." Robin replied sarcastically. Steve couldn't control the snicker that came from him.
"Ok ok I get it, I'll do better next time." Steve promised Robin. She knew he wouldn't but his intentions were good so she'll let him slide this time.

The day went by pretty smooth and quickly. Those were the days Steve and Robin liked the most, only a few more minutes until closing. Steve took care of sweeping the floor and Robin handled the arrangements of the movies.
Robin was the first to break the silence. "So.." she paused before continuing. Steve looked at her while sweeping wondering what she was going to say. "You and Eddie hung out yesterday, right?" She asked still focusing on the movies in front of her.
Just when Steve thought he was going to be "Eddie free" for one day. Robin couldn't find out about what happened last night, not because Steve was afraid to tell her it was because even he didn't know what happened exactly.
"Um... yeah." Steve gave a short response and went back to sweeping in hopes of Robin dropping the conversation.
"Was it fun?" Robin asked in a suggestive tone and Steve could see her raising her eyebrows.
"It was alright." Steve was trying to telepathically tell Robin that he didn't want to talk about it and that wasn't working for him. Robin smirked to herself after noticing Steve was getting a little red and feisty by just a simple question.
"I think it's nice to see you finally hanging out with another dude that's not a child for once. He's pretty sweet too, you guys should hang out more." Robin suggested the idea and was being honest about it. Steve haven't talked to a decent guy his age in a long time, she wanted to see him build a genuine friendship with Eddie.
"I guess you're right." Steve took robin's suggestion into consideration. What happened last night was just a misunderstanding and they weren't in the right mindset. Steve and Eddie could start over, this time actually becoming friends.
"When am I not." Robin joked, Steve laughed and the two of them straightened up a few spots of the store before closing.

Steve was bored out of his mind and he didn't know what to do with his free time. It was a normal Sunday afternoon when usually around this time he would've been invited to a party he didn't want to go to. Sadly no one was doing anything today and Steve would just have to stay home by himself.
"Steve! Pssst Steve!"
Steve heard his name being called from somewhere in his room. "What the hell?" He got up from his bed to locate the voice, the source was coming from his closet. As soon as he opened it the walkie talkie that Dustin gave him was on the floor underneath a shirt.
Removing the shirt on top the walkie talkie Steve could hear the voice clearly now, it was Dustin. "Steve! I know you hear me. Goddamn it."
"Hello?" Steve answered into the walkie talkie. He could also hear that Dustin wasn't alone and people were talking in the background. "Where are you?" Steve asked the boy on the other end.
"I'm at the- ow! We're at the arcade and we need someone to pick us up." Dustin said into the walkie talkie. Steve wondered who dropped them off in the first place and why couldn't they just call that person to pick them up. Instead of questioning it he just agreed to get them.
"Ok I'm on the way." Steve said into the walkie talkie before he got ready.

Steve parked his car in the parking lot of the arcade. He went inside and looked in every inch of the place to try and find the kids. Before he knew it he saw the kids at an arcade game that was near the back of the building. Dustin, Mike, Will, Max, El, and Lucas were all taking turns at the arcade game and Steve could here the disappointed groans the closer he got.
"Aw man I was about to win." Mike said angrily as he watched his score appear on the screen.
"No you wasn't, I had the highest score." Lucas states proudly earning a slap on the shoulder from mike. He held his shoulder while wincing at the pain of the slap. "Ow!"
"Alright guys it's time to go." Steve waved his hand toward the direction of the exit. The kids didn't budge and stayed in their exact spots. "What's up with you guys come on." Steve told them again and they didn't listen.
"We kind of didn't expect you to show up so early." Dustin said guiltily with the saddest expression Steve has ever seen.
"What are you-"
"Ok guys I got raspberry, strawberry, caramel, vanilla, cotton candy, and... Steve?"
As soon as he heard the familiar voice Steve wanted to melt into the ground and never come back. He turned around to see Eddie holding a tray of drinks for the kids and his gaze met Steve's instantly.
"Shit."
