Scary movie

"A little protective ain't he" Steve said from behind me. "Yeah a little,but my parents still are missing so at least someone's looking after me" I said. "Come on in, I hope you don't mind but I brought nancy along" he said. "I don't mind" I said. I walked in and Nancy was in the kitchen making popcorn. We were gonna have a movie night. I didn't like the idea of nancy being here. Not because I don't like her I think she's ok but if I do the thing again, she might tell someone and then I'll be fucked. I sometimes do this thing. I'll have a vision,but when I do stuff happens around me. From what Steve said, I make small things float and my hair floats up. I know Nancy wouldn't be completely freaked out by it, there was someone else who had superhuman abilities but it'd be better if she didn't know. It would be better if no one knew. I trusted Steve with it. I could trust him with anything. My visions are stuff that's going on right now. Stuff that's happening. Usually it's nothing bad but sometimes I see stuff that I don't like. But when I see them it answers questions I've been having. I sat down on the couch and Steve sat next to me. "How about a scary movie since halloween is right around the corner" Steve said. "How about no, you know how I feel about scary movies" I said. "Oh relax you can cuddle up to me if you get scared" he said. "That'll be hard for me to do when your girlfriend is already cuddled up to you" I said. Nancy was now cuddled up to Steve and had set the bowl of popcorn in Steve's lap. "You two can share me" he said. "I don't feel like sharing" Nancy said jokingly. "I'll be fine, put one on" I said with a sigh. Steve put on a scary movie. I ate popcorn. Steve kept looking at me weird everytime I would reach into the bowl. At the end of the movie me and Nancy were both cuddled up to Steve. "Jesus you two get scared too easily" Steve said. He hadn't jumped once. "You just don't scare at all" I said. Suddenly we all heard loud footsteps outside. We all jumped including Steve. "You sure about that" nancy said. I got a weird feeling, the same one I had when I saw the upsidedown. The frozen feeling. None of us moved. We all looked at each other with the same freaked out expression. I decided to get up. Steve and Nancy got up after me. "Steve where's that bat" I asked. "I keep it in my trunk" he said. "Let's go grab it" I said. "And why are we going towards the possible danger" Nancy asked. "I dunno curiosity maybe" I said. We all put our shoes on. "Y/n you need a jacket it's chilly" steve said. "I'll be fine" I said. "You're in a tank top and extremely short shorts" Steve said, running upstairs. "He doesn't take no for an answer does he" I said. "Nope" nancy said. He came back down with one of his jackets. I put it on and like most of his clothes it was way to big. I like oversized clothes though. We all walked outside and to Steve's car. He opened the trunk and grabbed the bat. I grabbed a flashlight then we started to walk around back where we heard the noise. I noticed a tree a little far back in the woods, it seemed like it was rotting. "Steve this way" I said, walking towards the tree. "Hey hey! Get behind me I'm the one with the bat" Steve said. He walked infront of me and we began to walk into the woods. "Over there" I said, pointing to the tree. "Ew, that's weird" Steve said. I walked over to it. "Give me the bat" I said. Steve handed me the bat and I hit the tree. When I pulled back the bat there was slimey stuff. "Ewww" Nancy said. "What the hell" Steve said. "C'mon lets go back" I said. We ran back inside and I grabbed the phone. "Who are you calling" steve asked. "The station- hey flo, it's y/n..no it's not because of that, tomorrow when hopper gets in, tell him to run by Steve's, he'll know what you mean...alright bye" I said, hanging up the phone. "Alright now we just gotta hope nothing comes and kills us" I said. "Great, love the optimism" Steve said sarcastically. "It's a possibility" I said. "What are you suggesting" nancy asked. "Don't worry about it" I said. "Y/n what's going on man, you can tell us, whatever it is we've all definitely seen stranger" Steve said. "It's nothing I promise" I said, "now c'mon let's watch some more movies" I said, hopping onto the couch. Steve sat next to me and Nancy sat next to him. We watched scary movies for a while.
