Vacation- The Go-Go's
My Aunt Joyce just picked me up from California to go to Hawkins, Indiana for summer, I used to live in Hawkins when I was a baby, we moved to Sacramento when I was 8 because my mom moved locations for her job. It wasn't such a small city after all, it was almost better than Cali! I was sitting in the back seat with Will while I was looking at a Latest Fashion magazine while Will was looking at an Easy Cheats in Dungeons and Dragons magazine I scoffed jokingly and then started laughing at the fact that he was so into the pages. I put in a The Go-Go's: Greatest Hits cassette in my Walkman while Vacation plays into my headphones.
time skip to when we get to Wills house
I lie my suitcases down and I sit on the couch and look for something to drink, "Aunt Joyce?" I shouted, "Do you have any Coca-Cola?" Instead of her responding because she couldn't hear me, Will said, "yeah it's in the back of the fridge."
"Oh thanks" I said thankfully as I sat back down on the couch while catching up on Will and his plans for this summer, "Well, first I really want you to meet my best friends, they can't wait to meet you." Will said "Well do you wanna go see them now?" I asked excitedly "Absolutely!" Will jumped up from the couch and we ran outside as Will shouted, "Mommm we're going to Mikes house." "Okay honey, just be back by 10:00 pm please." "Okayyyy" we both said while we walked into the garage and got our bikes, "Here follow me." Will said.
We got to Mikes house and knocked on the door as Karen greeted Will as she looked me up and down and said, "Well who is this gorgeous young lady?" She asked as I said, "Y/N , Y/N Byers, I'm Will's cousin!" "Ohh that's good to know! Nice to meet you y/n!" She said as she moved out of the doorway to let us inside. The house was very modern and nice, kind of like my house, we went to the basement as to our surprise, Eleven, Mike, Max, Lucas, and Dustin were all staring at me whenever I walked in, Mike couldn't get his eyes off of me {he's single btw} I sat down next to Max and El as we seemed to get along pretty well. We talked about how the boys are and all that stuff, that was until Mike walked over to me and said. "h-hi Y/N... it's really nice to um..meet you." I looked at him right in his dark brown eyes and said, "it's nice to meet you too" the more I looked at him the cuter he got, as I shook his hand he kept staring at me, I was trying not to make it awkward so I walked up to the other people and did the same thing, all the boys were nervous just like Mike, but there was something in Mike that just stood out to me
